Weekly Q&As with Marcus Stephenson

As I just said, it will still be a little longer before we can start the weekly Q&As so I'm afraid you'll have to wait until then to get a definitive answer. My understanding is that there will be changes to the FIBA teams year-to-year as they're based on world rankings but you'll have to wait until Marcus gets the green light to participate in these Q&A sessions before you can get an official answer to that.

world rankings thats ridiculous theres a dozen more teams better then japan, mexico and korea and they were on live 09. what about nigeria they got nba experience (I.udoka, J.Varem, M.Olowokandi, E.Ere) and a ranking of 22. New Zealand ranked 14 (S.Marks, K.Penney), Venezuela ranked 21 (O.Torres,G.Vasquez) Lebanon ranked 24 (J.Vogel, F.El Khatib) Israel ranked 25 (O.Casspi) All these teams are ahead of japan, korea and mexico so you cant say its based on rankings.

I raised this last year....primary selection was based on rankings (I think all top 10 teams are there)....then secondary selection was on other teams that have a few NBA players aligned to them....then thirdly, it was based on politics/marketing, whereby you want all the big market places (i.e. Canada, Japan, England/UK etc) to be represented....I'm from New Zealand so I was disappointed to see them miss out given their ranking & success over last decade, but such is life....but I would agree that teams like Nigeria & other teams deserve a look in

in fiba can we get 15 players in a squad and choose your 12 players when you go to team management and have 3 reserves like you can have in nba dynasty mode. Also can we get big nate in the aussie squad. Also will there be more signature shots for nba players and maybe fiba players.

My guess is that based on what happened in 09, the rosters could be a little out of date but will probably reflect the 2008 Olympics at the earliest. We'll know more when Marcus and the other guys can talk more openly about the game and answer these questions though.

I still think it will be the start of the NBA finals when we see first screens and that..

there is alot of excitement around the boards though isn't there

1) Will we be able to play Multi in the dynasty mode or season (like live 07,06,05,and etc)??
2) Are there gonna be more dunk packages??
3) It seems that every time you shoot the ball it goes switch!!are you guys gonna fix that??
4) When i press the layup/dunk button from the 3-pt line (with big z for example) he fly to the rim and finish it with a lay-up or a dunk!!like there is no vertical rating.vertical factor?what about the PF fast break bug??

There were different shot styles for a lot of players last year but each shot will be different now with there being signature arc shots for Live 10 so it won't be so easy to tell if a shots going in with the high arc glitch in 09.

there were different shots only for superstars.Correct me if i'm wrong but players who are not superstars had the same shot.

Signature shot styles weren't exclusive to star players. They certainly had preference/priority but other players with distinct styles were also represented.
