I didn't know Okur was injured. With him on the court, Jazz could have played better in paint, as Okur can draw Bynum/Gason out of paint with his range. The game wasn't really close as Kobe said. I thought the LAL was in control the whole time. I think this series could be over soon, if couple of Jazz don't get hot, or Okur doesn't return soon.

The Jazz can ill-afford to be without any key players in the series, so if Okur won't be available then I'm not sure about them picking up that one victory to avoid the sweep. Still, the Jazz are one of the best teams in the league at home despite battling injuries all year so I wouldn't count them out in a sweep just yet. I'm standing by my prediction of Lakers in five though.

If Kirilenko flop like he did in last year's playoffs then the Jazz will have a better chance. I hate both teams so I dont care who wins.

LA in 5, Utah at home is too much for any team to go undefeated in

Why is this game on TNT and not the Blazers game? I thought only bad games were on NBA TV.

The jizz has taken game 3 with a game-winning fadeaway shot from deron williams, the jazz bench also is good on this game, i am going with the lakers at 6. i hope the jizz will even the series though

Amazing. Just amazing performance by Booger. He just manhandled bum looking Gasol last couple of minutes on offensive end. However, Jazz really lack size under the rim. With Okur, this series could have been a lot better. :applaud:

I thought this would be a rout. Good job lakers, you only fell by 2 in a game that 89% fans anticipated that you will really be defeated.

Tough night from the field for Kobe, 5/24. Still, it only led to a two point loss so as disappointing as it is for the Lakers it's not a huge concern at this juncture and not the best sign for the Jazz. All the same, a nice effort to get the win despite still being shorthanded.

Kobe scored 38 this time. Nice win at a hostile territory.

Kobe torches them. 38 points in your own damn house. Blowout victory, they'd be done the next game in LA.

It looked like Kobe was going to hit 50 or more the way he started out, if not for the Jazz throwing a few more double teams his way when it was already too late he probably would have. A dominate win which should be the precursor to the Lakers taking the series in five. The Jazz probably had the play of the night to end the first half though.
