The Ultimate NBA Feud: Jefferies vs. Brunson

Mon Dec 08, 2003 6:35 am

"Honestly, I really don't care too much for him," Jefferies said of Brunson, who spent all of last season with the Bulls. "I know that a lot of people don't like him.

"His whole attitude toward everything, it's really not about team. It's like a lot of hidden agendas, and I try to keep myself away from people like that. He's one way one day, and the next day he's like totally different. I never really talked to him at all."

...

Jefferies insisted he was well aware that Brunson could be headed to the Bulls. If the Raptors don't agree to take Mason in a trade, it's also conceivable that the Bulls would release Jefferies, who is signed through next season, to make room for Brunson.

"On the court, I (may) have to be his teammate," Jefferies said. "But I don't have to talk to him any other time or say anything to him."

TheBob wrote:I liked that Brunson said jeffries couldnt play and couldnt be coached...Jeffries also said Brunson was acting as a spy for O'neil...

*rawr* Catfight.

Shaq vs. Kobe = sux. Jeffries vs. Brunson = pwn.

Of course if Jefferies stays in Chicago it'll be sweet if he goes Artest or ChrisMills on Brunson after practice...and when WGN shows Bulls games they should have a picture-in-picture of the two sitting on the bench next to each other so we can see the tension so thick you could cut it with a knife...

"Discredit my game, but don't discredit my character," Brunson said. "This is coming from a guy who only cares about himself. There are only two things wrong with that guy. He can't play. And he can't be coached. That's a bad combination. And I'll tell that to his face."

''They brought him off the injured list [once], and he was pretty much doing the same thing he was doing on the injured list, which is nothing.

Silly Jeffries calling Brunson useless...

a bunch of teeny bopper language i guess...'pwn' must be a cool saying amongst the the 11 year old age group. i got this out of what he said: if you don't visit these anime chat rooms, geeks laugh at you for not knowing what 'pwn' is.

Tue Dec 09, 2003 2:25 am

Actually, it's gamer talk, not just anime talk or whatever. One of my roommates is one of the top Quake III and Starcraft gamers, and he says shit like that when I chat with him online. It's kind of annoying...but it's not just something 11 year old's do. It's also where words like 'ghey' have come from...

Tue Dec 09, 2003 6:18 am

OK Shep....one more time...I am not 11 Get it right

I heard Rick Brunson has no Talent

Tue Dec 09, 2003 10:56 am

I am not 11

It might actually be better for your esteem among us if everyone thought you were 11, but...... Just messing.

TOPIC:
Chris Jefferies and Rick Brunson...... do they even have the right to contemplate which is the more useless player?

It's not about T-Mac, their just a shit team that has been getting way too much credit over the last few years. People picked them to get home court this year... T-Mac will regret leaving Toronto, he had his chance to get a title here, oh well...

Imagine the current Tmac and Vince on the same team....

But I think him leaving Toronto was inevitable. If I remember correctly, one of his main reasons for going to Orlando was that he "didn't want to be the Pippen." I don't think the two cousins will have coexisted with this kind of attitude.

Wed Dec 10, 2003 12:11 pm

dey were a good team together. as far as i know. i have this lil video of this awesome play. T-mac goes up for da shot.......Misses. VC slams down the rebound. if i have time i will upload it

Wed Dec 10, 2003 2:30 pm

when tmac was going to orlando, hill was there and tmac was meantr to his sidekick

Jefferies was supposed to be a lottery pick be4 he injured his knee in college

he has sick hops...not like VC tho but he's got hops

he is a very good defender and he was supposed to be only a slasher but not has become a shooter....he was also supposed to be very versatile...able to play the 1 a litte (but not likely to ever put him there), 2 and 3
