Hi Marek, thanks for the SGSM.rar folder files download link that you have provided. I have downloaded it also.

Btw, i am not that interested using updated rosters as i find it annoy when the game commentator unable to said out those latest players names (example was instead of Andrew Bynum, the announce their name as their Jersey number, number seventeen). So i stick with nba live 2005 original rosters.

For who that was still playing nba live 2005, i strongly recommend you all using the enhance version of plyface.viv and nbacam.mgd inside the downloaded SGSM folder. Just copy the files and paste to your SGSM folder.

For plyface.viv (77.797 KB), its enhance and improve the players portrait faces for the game, the players portrait face looks so much real and nice, much much more better than the original version players faces. Copy and paste it to C:\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 2005\sgsm\players

For nbacam.mgd - it is a improve version for pressbox camera view, it initiate the camera view of NBA2k and is a much more better game play view for the game. Copy and paste it to C:\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 2005\merlin

These two files are really improve the game a lot, you must definitely need to update these two patches as this really improve the graphic of the game and make the game version so much more better.

Hi noobiew, welcome to the forum. I know, that is very annoying, when you hear announcers, who says numbers only, not names, but I can go along with that  Well, there is a way to solve this problem, you can create speech ID's for players, but it's not simple, so I'll stick with numbers

Can you use Audy 06 or any other kind of software to edit/create speech ids for NBA Live 2005? And would the steps be the same or at least similar?

Audy is not working in our Live 2005. I don't know which program you can use to import audio files. There was once a discussion on this subject. Try to search this thread in "NBA Live 2005 General".

No, I don't know where you can only downlad rookie-cyberfaces. Try look for the faces you want from here: http://www.nba-live.com/andrew/nbalivep ... pc_art.zip and here: http://files.filefront.com/sgsm2+faces7 ... einfo.html

On the subject of rosters, we're very, very close to the release of the NBA Live PC Project for NBA Live 06 and I've already prepared a conversion for NBA Live 2005 which I'll need to update and doublecheck for database issues (such as players being assigned shoes that don't exist in NBA Live 2005) but should be out very soon as well. The good thing is that with all the roster updates having the same players.dbf file, I can quickly and easily update four games at once in a little over the time it takes it to make one so I should be able to cater to players of the older games much easier than before. Anyway, stay tuned for some NBA Live 2005 content following the release of the NBA Live 06 updates. :)

With NBA Live PC for 06 v1.0 released, I've immediately moved on to NBA Live 2005's roster which is completely up to date lineup-wise. Now comes the fun part of fixing the shoe assignments and cleaning up a few other things so it's ready for release, but that hopefully shouldn't take too long. For some reason every team is being calculated with an overall rating of 99 which shouldn't matter too much in terms of performance but I'll certainly try to fix things like that before release. Anyway, stay tuned. :)

I've fixed the shoes (well, no one should be wearing incorrect colours anyway), just a few more bits and pieces to update and fix and it should be right for release; no specific date as yet but it shouldn't be too long. That's the beauty of these conversions, the actual rosters almost take care of themselves since everything's already in place. It's just the compatibility and fixing up stray database values here and there.

You're welcome. :) At the moment I'm thinking I'll put together a package using the art we have at our disposal. At the very least the rosters will be set up to use art from the NBA Live PC Project and the other packs that have been posted.

For the moment it will have the same limitations as the 06 Project however, ie. headband problems when using headshapes from 07/08.

In order to get rid of pink heads, you'll need cyberfaces for them. Download NBA Live PC Project 1.0 patch from here: viewtopic.php?f=88&t=64291 it is for Live 06, but most of the cyberfaces work perfectly fine in our Live 2005.
