Where do NBA players live? Superstars have their cribs but if player with a low salary is traded to another team does the team provide a flat or does he buy or rent one?

I ask this in relation with trades and financial demands. If a player plays for a team several seasons he knows the city, has his friends there, his family possibly lives there as well. NBA players earn much money and I don't understand why players demand more money, get traded and have to get used to a new city again and again.

David Lee for example is said to be a loyal player but he wants to get a big contract and might leave the Knicks as soon as he becomes a free agent. Personally, I am not the person to live here and there and everywhere and nowhere. My home is so much important to me. I would not move and have to adjust to a new city without my friends etc. just for some more money.

Some players get traded each season. Horrible thought. I could not play in the NBA just because of this. LOL

There are real estate agents who specialize in relocation. I assume the player's agent or manager help with that, in conjunction with the team, possibly.

And as far as free agency is concerned, it's not that different to Joe Public deciding to take a job opportunity in another city and moving their family in the process.

Was MJ ever been courted by other teams, either before helping the Bulls win their first championship or after?

A possible trade to the Clippers was mentioned in Sam Smith's The Jordan Rules and earlier this season it was revealed that there were talks with the Knicks back in 1996 (brought up in relation to LeBron's impending free agency in 2010) but how close those ever came to being a reality is something we'll probably never know though my guess is "not very".

The Bobcats have had 23 players play for them this season.

I seem to think that the 1997 Dallas Mavericks hold the record. But that might have been surpassed since then. Can anyone confirm this?

How about that Miami Heat team in the early 2000's when they had so many injuries that they only suited up the league minimum of 8 players for a game?

What is the best website on teams, players and records?
nba.com has sometimes incomplete transactions, espn.com is ok but is there a better site? Jersey numbers after trades should be online as soon as possible, you should be able to look up historical rosters, look up facts such as "what players retired in 200x".

This happened i don't remember if last season or the other one with Golden State. If you have to many injured players and you don't reach the 8 minimun and you have 15 players on your team, the NBA allows you to sign one until somebody injured returns to the lineup. This only happens when they are injured i guess.

Correct me if I'm wrong

I know it happened to the Pacers, if I recall correctly they only had 6 players play in a game against the Magic where they only lost by 3. It was when everyone was suspended but I am pretty sure that happened.

LOL. Wha?

To answer your question, probably nobody believes that Kevin Durant will steal best ppg average for this season.

Would it be possible for 2 teams wanting to trade 2 players after the trade deadline, to just waive the respective players and for the other to pick those players up?

I guess so, though they'd have to be very quiet about it and the players would have to agree to it and keep their mouths shut too. It's a pretty unlikely scenario though.

Why does the NBA have to take on a 175 million dollar loan to keep 15 teams floating, when they just as easily drop the lux tax for this season and/or next and save 29 teams probably double that much?

The league would drop an ENORMOUS deuce on both those teams. It wouldn't be allowed. All trades/waivers/transactions have to be cleared by the league administration.
