Great starting five, your bench isn't too bad either. (Y)

I'm still playing my Blazers dynasty and after becoming a NBA Champion last season I improved my team in 09/10 season .

Oden/Gortat
Camby/Noah/Lasme
Beasley/Radmanovic/Wilkins
Roy/Fernandez/Batum
Rose/Westbrook/Sessions

As you can see I have no generated rookie, and It's strange because I picked one during the draft :). I don't know where he is .

That is odd. I would have suggested that he's on the inactive list but you've for fourteen players there so the inactive list is accounted for. If you can remember his name, maybe check the Free Agent pool?

My 2008-09 lineup (this is for a dynasty). my team is sacramento and the default rosters is what i use

I think my team is the underdog of the league because despite ron artest being rated 87, he only scores about 16 ppg and Al Harrington with 18 ppg. So if these rosters were corrected, he would be rated 82/83 and I only have 4 players rated over 70.

C - S. Hawes = 66
PF - A. Harrington = 80
SF - R. Artest = 87
SG - F. Garcia = 62
PG - B. Udrih = 66

Bench:
PG - D. Dickau = 66 (can't believe this guy is rated 78 FG and 75 3 pt, is he really that good on offense?)
SG - J. Salmons = 64
SF - M. Peterson = 73
PF - C. Brewer = 71 (can also play SF)
C - D. Milicic = 67
SG - M. Carroll = 61
SG/PG - Q. Douby = 66
PG - K. Lowry = 59

I am planning to trade Lowry and Douby for Jarvis Hayes and play him on PF. i traded B.Miller and K. Martin for Harrington and B. Wright, cause im no fan of Martin's offensive style, then traded Wright to Minnesota for Brewer. Brewer is averaging 11 ppg, 1 bpg, 1spg and 6 rpg and is my best defensive player on the team behind Harrington's 4.50 bpg. I traded Shareef for Mo-Pete

I traded away Jason thompson for Nick Collison then traded him for D. Milicic. then i traded Moore for Carroll. then signed Dickau and now I have 687 K left on my cap.

Harrington has yet to make a 3 pointer, he has missed all 15 3 pointers on all 23 games I have played.
Peterson is more of my clutch player - only plays in the last 2 minutes to make 3 pointers.

So what do you think? Too good on the wing??

Your playing the games or simulating them?. When I had harrington he would make some clutch 3s that would send the game to overtime

Ratings differ between the Xbox 360/PS3 and PS2 versions of the game, perhaps that's the case here? If you're both playing the same version of the game then I'm not sure what's going on there.

I started as the Bulls Pick #9 in a Fantasy draft. After off-season signings, good draft pick, a trade for Derrick Rose and three seasons this is my S5:

D. Howard
PF rate 77 (rebounding specialist)
SF Beasley
SG Gay
PG Rose

My key bench contributors are Sasha Vuijicic or h/e you spell his name and Mike Conley. I'm currently 29-16 or 30-16.

Thanks!

That's a nice starting five that lends itself to a variety of options on offense. Who's your top scorer?

On average, Beasley. However, during my simming I have seen Rose top 30 numerous times, and Gay/Sasha/Dwight are usually good for about 15 or so.

Interesting. If I had Howard I'd probably be too tempted to dump it in to him for 20, 25 per game though Gay, Rose and Beasley are a bit more versatile offensively.

I am tempted to trade Howard though. On the trading block I can get a sophomore PG rated 91 already. I don't think I can get a pick out of it too, but if it a good trade? In my last 25 games I'm like 21-4, so I don't need too, but can I pass that potential up?

Well, if you make that trade then I'd look to trade Rose for a big man otherwise you're going to have two highly rated point guards splitting minutes and no All-Star quality big in the middle. With the way you've been winning I'd be prefer to keep your current roster but if you're getting a little bored then you might want to shake things up with a trade...but if you do, I'd look to trade Rose for a big. Or, trade Gay for a big and play Rose and the 91 overall generated point guard together as a smaller, speedy backcourt.

I was going to trade maybe Gay and a pick for Mayo. The way I'm finishing and the quality of picks even at the end of RD1 you can't find anybody down there. If I traded Howard my lineup would look like this:

C- current PF
PF- Gay
SF- Beasley
SG- 91 PG
PG- Rose

Depending on how they progress up to the next season I may pull the trade

That could work, probably a good lineup for a fast breaking team. I'd be inclined to start Beasley at power forward myself but that's your call. :)

I traded Gay for Bynum (offered during the draft) and the 12th overall pick (total steal), then traded Bynum for Mayo and a pick. I traded Sasha for Eric Gordon and a pick so now my team is:

C- Howard
PF- Beasley
SF- Mayo
SG- Eric Gordon
PG- Derrick Rose

I think I am going to leave this team until everybody dies or I get another steal during the draft. Thanks for the input

haha back-to-back championships. The dynasty is back in chi-town. If only they were good in real life...

Hey, can somebody help me with this problem? My roommate and I tried to make like an All-NBA team, and created Stockton, Jordan, Reggie, Bird and Wilt. However, it would always freeze when we would put them on a team together for dynasty mode, and it wouldn't transfer them when we kept them as free agents. Why is that?

Possibly a bug, I remember someone else was having issues trying to start a Dynasty with created players.
