I'm quite keen to get a Dynasty started in NBA Live 09 on the Xbox 360. I'll be giving 12 minute quarters a shot and playing as many games as possible, though I might have to resort to simming some. As usual, I'll be taking control of the Bulls and while I'd like to avoid too much wheeling and dealing and keep a decent amount of players who actually do play for the Bulls, I'll probably end up making a couple of deals.
I'll be fielding offers for Larry Hughes on the trading block as I envision a guard rotation with Gordon and Rose as the starters and Hinrich and Thabo coming off the bench. I've tried out a sample Dynasty and it looks like there might be some interesting offers, otherwise I'll try to be creative myself. Being an Australian I'm considering trying to get Andrew Bogut though it will be a little difficult with the personnel I have (and want to keep) and the salaries.
I'm not sure which direction I'll set, being that it is a video game I'll be aiming to win it all but taking into account the minimum goals that are set, I think I might aim for the mid-level of grow, improve and compete (mainly as I don't think I can get MVP but can probably get ROY with Rose).
Finally, I think I'll wait until the first few proper NBA Live 365 updates before I start the Dynasty to see what kind of detail they add and get a few more missing players added.
