I used the keyboard way back in the day but eventually I started using a gamepad. When Freestyle Control was introduced in NBA Live 2003, I invested in a dual analog pad.

xbox 360 wired controller, or the PS3 controller even though I am having sensitivity issues with that one

My PC controller is that Logitech Precision.
For analog, I use a PS2 controller.

where do u guys get the ones for xbox 360 wired? can send me a pic or something? looking for one but cant find..

there is no adapter, you can take a wired 360 controller and plug it right into the PC.
