You are not allowed to attach to the game process, and if any bytecode is found to be changed, the main process will be killed by a protection process??? (but with a random delay??? Perhaps). As a result, we have to bypass the anti-cheat system first. Or (as a last fallback) we back to the archive importing method like in 2K15 / FIFA, however, we will need to develop a new modding tool for this method.
But anyway, I am trying.

That's exactly what I suspected and what I said from the beginning. This is no coincidence. 2K has never done such a thing before for PC and hence it's obvious that they are going this direction for a precise reason. Being charitable this is just a move to prevent cheating, however they could have easily implemented such a check exclusively for online modes but they didn't, so one has to wonder if this move is done also to prevent modding at all (as many high level publishers don't like users modding the game as that can impact microtransaction sales).

I don't know for sure, because I can't access the site.
someone please that has access, download and distribute for us here please?
The solution is to replace the exe with a previous version until Looyh updates the hook.

I've made some progress, but I've realized that if the Hook tool provides anti-anti-cheat, it could potentially pose some risks for me. After all, our original intention was just to mod our game in offline modes to enhance our gaming experience, not to cheat, but now we have to bypass the anti-cheat... I am not sure whether it's OK to release the new update.

We hope you release it, the game is unplayable without mods.
