Punk's Nexus still uses the We Are One theme.

Makes sense. As I said before, done right it could be a good angle.

I'd say it's just one of those intentional misspellings to be creative/cool, akin to the K in Mortal Kombat.

Seems that's actually what they're going to be called, with the misspelling.

Currently re-watching the 2004 Royal Rumble. I think the Royal Rumble PPV is one of the must watch for a fan even if you don't follow the WWE that much anymore. Chris Benoit :bowdown2:

Good thing you've found the entire footage of the Rumble with Benoit not blurred out.

http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/article ... ing-121865

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE Champion and Smackdown star Edge and has been telling those close to him that he will be leaving WWE when his contract with the company expires in 2012. No word on what Edge's future plans will include.

I don't know if this is true since its a Dave Meltzer report. If this is true, it's sad to see him leave and I wonder what he will do after WWE (Maybe radio broadcasting since he earned a diploma in it).

I've seen that reported before so there might be some truth to it. He's 37 and has had some serious injuries in his career, he probably doesn't want to be one of those guys who wrestles into his late 40s or beyond.

I'm sorry man, I'm not aware of that cos I am using a mobile phone.

@Lean, I also want to see them in a program. I still remember the last time that they were in the same ring (April 2010 if I am not mistaken, Christian was drafted to Smackdown while Edge got drafted to RAW. Edge went to Smackdown to say farewell by calling the fans puppets). Btw, have you read the article? Can you please copy paste the content here so that everyone can read it. Thanks.

TNA's Latest Publicity Stunt - Will Try To Host Chad Ochocinco vs. Marvin Lewis In A Steel Cage Match

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling offers to host the bout at the "Lockdown" Pay-Per-View event on Sunday, April 17

As the NFL's Super Bowl draws near, one of the year's major football news stories has been the ongoing rivalry between Cincinnati Begals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco and his head coach, Marvin Lewis.

The ill-will between the head coach and his star player has reportedly been an ongoing issue, and now Ochocinco has challenged Lewis to put an end to their differences once and for all - not on the gridiron field of the NFL, but inside a steel cage!

On Monday, Ochocinco posted the following message to his Twitter account (twitter.com/ochocinco), responding to Adam Schefter of ESPN: "Me and Marvin Lewis in a cage match, set it up, I've earned my stripes on my helmet it's time to fight then play"

As a result, Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling has offered to host Ochocinco vs. Lewis inside a Steel Cage at their annual "Lockdown" event on April 17, which will air live on Pay-Per-View!

I guess that's one way to try and grab headlines.

Vince McMahon blocks a major storyline for Christian and Edge.

Christian vs Edge

Apparently, Vince McMahon is not a big fan of the Burger King slogan of "Have It Your Way".

The internet wrestling community has been begging for a program between Edge and Christian. Fans don't care if they're friends or foes. They just want to see the two childhood friends working together again.

McMahon, though, doesn't share in that sentiment.

Prior to Christian's injury, the creative department had pitched ideas to McMahon about programs between the former tag champions. Some of the ideas were thrown out in an attempt to put Christian into a main event program with Edge.

McMahon turned down every single idea.

The belief has always been that McMahon does not view Christian as a main event talent. He views him as a solid veteran performer who can help aid the newer wrestlers. In the CEO's eyes, he's in the same class as Goldust, Finlay and William Regal.

Closing Thoughts

With all the other failed pushes that he's experimented with over the years, it wouldn't kill McMahon to give this program at least a month.

The thing is, it's not even booked to happen at this point. I'm guessing the NFL turns their nose up at it, nothing comes of it and TNA just end up looking silly.
