Kevin Garnett possibly traded before dealine?

I was talking to a friend and basically he was telling me that as long as KG demands a trade that it would happen before the deadline? This true? And if so, do u think he will make that demand?

Garnett is not going to ask out of Minnesota this year. You can pretty much put those rumors to bed. Here are some recent quotes from Garnett regarding his future in Minnesota and how long he'll make 'Sota his home.

A reporter asked Garnett in December if he was unhappy in Minnesota. Garnett replied with, "I don't read you guys' columns," Garnett said. "I'm right here. I never said I wasn't happy. I don't know where y'all get that [expletive] from. None of y'all ask me any of that."

"I feel like we've got a good team here," he said. "We're dealing with offensive chemistry problems a little bit, but I wouldn't say problems like problems; it's just trying to feel one another and play. We're dealing with some of the same things that Phoenix and Dallas and all the other teams are dealing with. Teams that have not been together a long time and teams that have new personnel are making adjustments, and we're no different. You go through it, man. It is what it is."

"My personality is just that I've got a good group of guys here that are willing to work," Garnett said. "There's no definite that if I do go to another market, or another situation, that it's always going to work. When I'm at a stage when I feel like [team owner] Glen [Taylor] is not putting forth a strong effort to make this team better, then I think it's time for me to leave. But until I feel like that, that's how it's going to be."

"Stop writing that [expletives] might feel sorry for me," he said. "I'm going to grind this thing out. Charles [Barkley] went to Houston and played with some greatness, man. But there's no definite, man. It's all about how it flows and the opportunities and the right opportunities. And right now I'm working on getting some wins in 'Sota."

I think Garnett moving before this year's trade deadline has a 0% chance of happening.

The next time someone talks about a KG Trade, I will get a gun and shoot them. EVERY TRADE DEADLINE, EVERY OFF-SEASON, EVERYTIME HIS CONTRACT IS ABOUT TO EXPIRE THERE'S AT LEAST 2 THINGS ABOUT A POTENTIAL KG TRADE. I WILL KILL YOU ALL.

About the rumor, I don't think KG will get traded.

Yes, the only way Garnett gets traded is if him and owner Glen Taylor mutally agree it is best for both of them. Garnett said he isn't even worried about moving on or trades. He said it is January and we should be talking about basketball. If something needs to be addressed he said he will address it in the off-season. He said right now he is all about winning ball games.

Plus, he is having a lot of fun with the current Wolves team. They are clicking right now. The chemistry is great. Garnett loves Mike James, Ricky Davis, Mark Blount, Randy Foye and Craig Smith. He has talked very highly of all of them. He even said he "appreciates Mark Blount" last night. Garnett is feeling good right now in 'Sota. (Y)

Didn't mean to upset you Omegah lol, its just what I heard, but yeh I dont really see any trade for him happening. KG's too loyal to that team, and as said, as long as Mr. Taylor is putting the effort, you can push that rumor aside.

The wolves would have to implode ala last season Knicks before feb in order to Garnett be traded. As Riot said, Minnesota is clicking right now. I dont think neither Garnett nor Taylor/Mchale are going to push this trade...
