More good news for us Knicks fan
Jamal Crawford's first step is now nothing more than a painful limp and perhaps the first sign of trouble for Lenny Wilkens and the Knicks.
Crawford, the Knicks' second-leading scorer and Isiah Thomas' biggest offseason acquisition, is expected to be sidelined anywhere from three to six weeks with a sprained right big toe, the team announced yesterday.
According to the Knicks, an MRI revealed that Crawford is suffering from turf toe, a soft tissue injury that is most commonly found in football players. Crawford sustained the injury during the third quarter of Wednesday's loss to the Boston Celtics. The Knicks said that Crawford will be placed on the injured list before Sunday's home game against Charlotte.
