Right now (and I stress right now because they weren't playing like this before), the Spurs are playing like 2000-01 Lakers.

Why Robinson at small foward you ask? Because you don't need to send a defensive stopper (bowen) out on the Pistons but you have to keep them honest on defense. Sending a bunch of 6'4-6'6 guys won't do that you need a big small foward that can beat his man off the dribble. That'll shut Prince up.

I think R.C. is the most underrated GM ever. This guy is like Auerbach. He doesn't build for the regular season he builds for the finals.

wow... i doubt that lineup will ever be out on the floor. theyll need someone to contain hamilton, and robinson wont be the guy.

I think there was a GM thread at this site.... I know that Buford is one of the best at getting the best guys that arent under the radar...

Only because Nazr is in foul trouble mostly in this series but against Detroit or Maimi he will be valuable, especially on the glass. But I do think we'll see more of Robinson if playing Detroit.

The 90s Bulls aren't a good example of a team using the "switch" mentality. Their last threepeat saw three straight 60 win seasons (they almost went back-to-back with 70 wins), for the most part they were at or near the top of the league from start to finish.

I don't think that's the only reason the Suns are faltering though. Surely fatigue is an issue right now, but the fact they are built to play one way and way only does not bode well against a team like San Antonio, who can win up-tempo basketball as well as grind-it-out basketball.

That basically allows the Spurs to hold their own during the shootout plus make life difficult for the Suns with their defense. As Kevin said, without adjustments Phoenix can't overcome that kind of obstacle.

Against San Antonio Spurs, it's very difficult to overcome a 3-0 deficit...so, i bid them goodbye & hope to see them next year (with a defense, and a dominant big man to support Amare on the paint) :cry:

That was a close game... I'm glad that the Phoenix Suns wasn't swept by the San Antonio Spurs... :shock:

IMO that duncan dunk was kinda soft...if he laid it up o the left hand amare could have been called for a foul......that elbow flop ginobili did was amazing......ony the replay showed the flop.....that argentinian reminds me of another argentinian(HAND OF GOD) :lol:
