lol yeah.

And id like to make a correction to my post....CSKA are another team from this tour that should DEFINATELY be included in the European division. Good to see Aussie David Andersen have a solid 9point 6 rebound game. (Y)
``They play the game the way it's supposed to be played,'' Iverson said. ``It's not about athletics. That's the game the way Karl Malone and John Stockton play it. It's good for kids to see how the game is supposed to be played.''

I'm surprised David Andersen isn't in NBA....he was Australia's best at 2004 Olympics, & is a very capable big....

to anyone who has seen any of these games, have they been using the new "sticky" NBA ball?!? if so, how have the players adjusted to it....

Spurs dominated Maccabi withe their defense.

I wish I caught the beginning of the Clips-CSKA game. I was Interested to see how former teammates Brand, Maggette, and Langdon reacted to playing each other

Preseason games in Europe like this are a good chance to see how foreign players would match up to the NBA, make basketball even more of a global sport.

not quite though, because this is NBA teams at their worst. They're not in peak condition and have to adjust to new teammates/coaches etc. A better test would be mid to late season.

NBA team- Who gives a shit, its a preseason game that's not even against another NBA team.

European team- LET'S GO GET THESE GUYS AND WIN!! WE ARE ON THE SAME LEVEL OF THE NBA WE CAN DO IT!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

And thats exactly why the rest of the world is getting better, while Americans are getting worse.

Attitude has ALOT to do with it

I have no doubt that America will always be the best basketball country.... at least during my time. People have to understand

1) NBA Players (apart from bench warmers looking to show what they can do) don't care about these games

2) NBA Players pretty much seem them as a practice or workout, these games are even below real preseason NBA games

3) NBA Player have to adjust to the game, they are not used to guarding 7 foot 3 point specialists that they have never heard of

4) They have no real idea of what the other teams style/stars etc are

wow the Sixers came back on the Suns down like 22... and not even with their starters... their 2nd team with Korver, Carney, Iguodala, Brunson, and Randolph came back and took down the Suns' starters
Carney hit the go-ahead 3 over Nash I think and the Suns couldn't respond, even though they had 2, 3 good looks at the basket.

Philly really impressed me with the last 2 games vs CSKA and Phoenix. Looks like they finaly improved their defense (starting with Dalembert). They will most likely make the playoffs this year.

I haven't seen this posted in this thread but I was wondering about if the teams played on a European size court?

Sammy D's statline in those 2 games are just 8-) .
So it's preseason, but it's a good glimpse of things to come.
