Exactly. He often seems to have prepared comments for the game that seem to suggest he isn't actually watching the game in progress. Take the Bulls/Sixers game back in December. It was an up and down contest, scoring right around the NBA average for halftime scores, some nice dunks and pretty entertaining all around.
Stephen A's comments were basically that the game was boring and he was waiting for it to start. It was like he'd taken a look at the teams playing, their record and decided what to say without bothering to watch what was really happening.
Sure, he might say things to simply get a reaction but when they're so out of touch with reality, so ignorant, I find it lame rather than entertaining. And yes, the fact it was a Bulls game didn't help either.
