when ever i am playing a game the players won't get injured except when the game is being simulated.and also the computer will always take a player out after he commits hes 5 foul and won't put him back in the game.no fregneut fouls are called.and the computer lots of times will make substuitions for my team even through i have auto subs off.and hardly there is a fast break during the game.i was wondoring if there is a patch for any or these errors.

if the guy is really important they will put him with 5 fouls, injury only occur in simulation and fragrant fouls, there are fragrant fouls, off the auto sub at the start of the game EVERYtime, YOU REALLY SUCK AT FAST BREAKS THEN....

i do take auto subs off at the start of every game everytime and they still will auto sub for me anyway.

hmm....seems weird i rarely but i do but rarely experience it...must be some kinda bug or something...

maybe you're not checking the right option Live 2000 is unlike other versions pretty "intelligent": once you take auto subs off, it will not put auto sub on the next times

Auto subs may occur if you are playing someone out of position (i.e., a SG at PG or SF at PF), or if you have on CPU assist and need the edge to win.

For flagrant fouls, move up the foul slider (more sensitive), then use the hand check when guarding a player (or, call the "intentional foul" play). Players with low defensive awareness under these settings are more likely (but not guaranteed)to commit flagrant fouls.

I have personally injured an opposing player (Tim Duncan, no less - broken wrist)while playing a season game, so it can happen.

what foul slider?

The foul slider can be found under the "RULES" or "OPTIONS" button when you pause the game while playing.... There should be one for defensive fouls and charges.

If there is only one for charges, I apologize. I am going on memory now, as I am not at home. I could be mistaken.

i found the foul slider i already have both the defensive fouls and charges all the way to the right.should i change them.i also never move the players and i am coach only.

When you say you coach only, do you watch the games as you coach, or do you simulate the games to get through the season faster?

I'm not sure how much control you will have in landing hard fouls if you are not playing....

Also, player hardiness plays a role in how injuries will affect someone. The field in PLAYERS.DBF that corresponds to this is "DHARDY". If you don't know how to edit these files, search the forum for the FAQ.

yes i watch the games while i coach.

also another problem i have is when i go to defense stragey right after i am at the offense stragey and change any of them from box to something else i get an error and leaves the game .

how do i edit the field in players.DBF.i searched the forum and couldn't find a question about it.

That's because the forum still has some problems with it's indexing. Nothing will come up if you search for a keyword.
