i know we all keep giving more and more ideas for the new NBA game for 2012 and thats great and we all hope u can add some or all over time and not have to take away every year, but there is one thing i wanted to say is we all liked things in NBA Live 09,10, and even Elite 11 so start there look and see the things from these games and see what EA has done and we liked and build on that cause u will start the game know what we already want and like. P.S please bring back from Live 09 were we were able to sim threw the game but if we dont like how are players, score, or if someone could be having a big game we could just join in the game from where the game is and finish it the way we want, and put that in Single player mode, and Dynasty mode too please.

Bringing back previous features that we liked is certainly an important part of the Wishlist too, no question. Those wishes are certainly just as welcome as stuff that needs to be fixed or new stuff they haven't added previously.

this is a new idea i want to give for the new EA basketball game coming in 2012, A.I, IM GONNA SAY IT AGAIN A.I, the A.I needs to be worked on in the real life places on the floor with how the real life teams play on the court. You guys have done a great job of making the A.I great on the ofense of end year after year like signature dribbling, signature moves, signature shooting, even there own signature celebrations and thats great like i said but want and doing the same thing on DEFENSE, signature team defenses, signature blocks, signature steals, signature man to man defense. And what i mean is for Ex; like blocks and steals are self explanatory, but sign team DEE like Bulls, sign man to man DEE like Fisher great at taking charges, Rondo knowing when to steal, Kobe in the clutch making it hard to get the ball to his man from inbounds play or if you have the ball making it hard to get a good shot off, or even Howard blocking player when he helps on DEE or Dwade with the help defense block, and these are just some things that would make the whole game balance out and make the best teams look like the best teams and not just look like themselfs on offense if you guys do this the team will look like themselfs on offense and defense you feel me. :applaud: :cheeky:

just a thought but i was wondering if EA could let us get NBA Elite 11 as a download with the new NBA Jams download coming this spring cause i still have the Elite 11 demo and i use that to give ideas to the New Team and it would be great if i could play the whole game and give more feedback on what else to keep or improve on, since NBA Jams is 15 dollars have Elite 11 cost 15 as well im telling u EA will be surprised how many people will buy it. Or maybe start a poll to see how many people will want it cuz i know i would. (Y) :applaud:

It would be nice that they upload a demo from one of their most recient builds so we can help them with some feedback. Maybe it hasn't to be public so they can recieve any bad(I don't mean negative, I mean trolling or bashing) feedback, maybe you could enter privately by invitation.

-Jumpball (ref calls for it when players are fighting for the ball)
-More crossovers (signature dribbles for example, like what Jamal Crawford does... or just bring back the previous ones)
-More Dunks (signature dunks like the reverse dunk of Kobe, facials of VC... and if possible, pls bring back the dunks from the previous Live series)
-CPU calls timeout (the computer doesn't call for timeout when the game is crucial)
-Signature layups (like Steve Nash does)
-More realistic shots under the basket (like the moves of Big Baby)
-Signature free throws (specially for Vince Carter, JKidd and Marion)
-Two-handed follow up (not just the one-handed tip in)
-Bank shot (just like in 2K11)
-Pls. bring back the self alley-oop
-Offensive fouls called on no charge zones (hope you can fix it)
-Players travel but no call for their extra steps
-Crowd during free throws (banners to distract the ft shooter)
-Allow timeouts before the player shoots the free throw
-Realistic free throw ratings (for example, Dirk shoots nothing but net and very rare hitting the cylinder)
-Players tapping the hands of the free throw shooter
-Players help teammates to stand up
-Ref calls for kicking the ball when the ball bounces at the foot of players

Hope you can do it... Thanks and GOD bless... :)

Appreciate the latest. (Y) Just a reminder though that the first post has been updated with a work in progress list, so unless you've got something to add to what's already posted for a particular point it might be for the best if we start focusing on other things that haven't been mentioned as yet.

bring back the graphics from NBA Live 09 cause that was the most realistic looking basketball game ever yeah it can be fine tuned but the players looked real or the superstars lol, but dont bring back the graphics from Live 10 they look like plastic action figures and the sweating was better on Live 09. :applaud:  :D

I made sure to include that in the Wishlist, the skill based shooting rather than the dice roll as in previous games. The right stick approach probably wasn't for the best outside of free throws, but total control over the shot is the right way to go.

thanks, and maybe they can add a skill based defense as well, but i hope the make it bal cause every year the offense aways over powers the defense, im not saying everybody should have great defense but at least the defensive players should. cause when i play the Elite 11 demo everytime i try to steal the ball the cpu protect the ball from me trying to steal and usually the cpu just stands there so I like how they didnt let the user just steal the ball easy.

Hello Everyone I am new here is my wish lists.

Update NBA Live 10 Graphics. (I like the Real Player Arcade Style Look the Best)
Be Able to Crossover opponets (You couldn't really do that in Elite but could in the other live Games)
Leave NBA Live 10 Control System alone it was fine. (Don't change it to the horrid 2k button system)
Have Multi-player Online Dynasty Mode System with a Friend Online. (My Friend Vin and I always play Online Team Play with our Favorite Team the Miami Heat, we always play with our favorite players. I play as Lebron James and He's plays as Dwayne Wade and we play these games like we're playing Dynasty.)
Make the Playoffs and Finals harder (In NBA Live 09 I lost in the NBA Finals in Five games while I won in NBA Live 10 NBA Finals in a Sweep).
Leave the Game Play of NBA Live 10 but enhance it alittle bit. (NBA Live 10 Arcade style is really fun while Elite felt incomplete and it felt and looked like that terrible 2k crap.)
Faster Updates and DNA Dynamics.
Bring Back Turbo Button

Thanks Peace God Bless :)

Agreed. Balance between the user and CPU abilities is also something I make a point to include in the Wishlist every year. The CPU always tends to be able to do some things the user can't or do them far too easily while it's tough for the user. Anyone who's played NBA Live 10 can probably attest to easily losing the ball in traffic while the CPU does a much better job hanging onto it when the defense starts to crowd the ballhandler. Hopefully they can borrow some of that Real AI tech from Fight Night and NBA Jam and adapt it for sim-oriented basketball.

they did have that in Elite 11 and i wanted to see how great that was gonna be so i hope they make it work great for the new Sim Basketball and brings us the users a more realistic experience. one thing i wanted to say cause i see some people dont like the skill stick idea and ill tell you this thats why i play NBA Live 09 all the time cause i like the button better but why not have controller modification in the settings or make it were you push the button to start the shot but the left stick controls it going left, right, off bank, or air ball if you hold the left stick down just a new look that we all mite like vs looking like the same set up as 2k. P.S just keep the skill shoting whatever you do EA cause you are on to something and that was the closest thing to basketball shoting on a video game yet. :applaud: (Y)

I think people like the idea of skill shooting, just not the stick control. 2K's shot stick works alright but for EA's game I'd prefer the right stick to be dribbling controls and a face button to shoot...or at least more a combination of the two. NBA Elite 11 was going to give us the new controls and classic controls, but the option of a hybrid would've been better (kind of like 2K having the shot stick and a shoot button). Rebounding and blocking with the right stick also felt awkward, that was one of my least favourite aspects of what they were going for with Elite 11.

It did feel awkward. I think it was because the animations were so bad. Did we have trouble using the right stick for defense with freestyle superstars?

We didn't, but blocking and rebounding controls were still assigned to face buttons; up on the stick raised the player's arms and down went into the defensive crouch, while left and right attempted steals with the left and right hand respectively. I always thought that worked well.

But to block a shot from the defensive crouch you had to move your thumb push the stock to push the button. Not that I am too lazy our slow to do that, but being able to quickly contest a shot with the right stick is a good option. I think the problem was how easy it was to accidentally press up on it when you weren't trying to contest. Same thing for accidental shots on offense.

I think that's where the turbo button should come in. Up can still be hands up, but when used with turbo, up could be a jumping contest.

Last-gen NBA Live 08 actually had a decent idea there, having a player who had their hands raised automatically jump to contest the shot when it went up (without making an aggressive swat), so if you were still holding up on the right stick you wouldn't have to worry about then hitting the block/rebound button. I wouldn't mind that, though having manual control over it with a trigger modifier like the Turbo button (which must come back) would be good too.

-Be able to add/delete players off USA Team
-Add a game mode where you can only play as one player
-Add a game mode where you are in a season but you battle some of the greatest teams of all time
-Add a game mode where you can just play the Finals and not the whole playoffs
-Add to the online play where you can pick any of the greatest teams from the past ex 87 Lakers
-In FIBA allow us to pick any year of the USA team also on online play ex Dream Team
-Allow us to create a team, jersey, court, and coach like in 2K
-Add the Legend Pool back to the Free Agent sign and release
-Upload our own songs
-Be able to load Dynasty, season, or playoff rosters when playing in Play Now
-Have a Challenge Mode where you try to beat records like Wilt's 100 point
-Have legends in game please!!!!
-Annouce starting lineup don't just show them
-Actually show and have real life injuries like when Nash got hit in the nose and was bleeding or when KG was bleeding from his forehead
-During intense games have it get physical not Technical Foul physical cause I know that'd not allowed but physical
-Have it more realistic by having players have bad games, normal games and really good games where they just go off for like 10 3's or 50 points etc.
-More emotion. Like off of a block shot or dunk have players be more emotional like yell in the crowd or Stoudemire's shh the crowd
-Have clutch mode
-When a player shoots a game winning shot have the camera view go to their view
-Also when a game winning shot or tying shot is released have the announcers (ex) be like Deron Williams for the win.... GOT IT!!!!!
-After a game winning shot have players celebrate. Like jumping up on the scorers table, jumping all over each other hugging, or Kobe's fist clench

THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU GUYS ARE GREAT AND I HOPE THE GAME WILL BLOW 2K OUT OF THE WATER!!!

-Allow rematch during playoffs

-Bring back the baby hook shots (where players can use either left or right hand)

-Illegal pick

-Offensive goaltending (Or basket interference?)

-Making a power dribble when penetrating the basket (it should be called for double dribble)

-Allow subs during and one situations

-Allow to choose player who will sub and shoot the free throws during injuries (also players to shoot during technical fouls)

-More put back slams and alley-oop dunks (like the throwdowns of Iguodala and Chandler)

-Running shots

-Jordan -like miracle shots

-More shot fakes

-Sometimes the ref's don't call for travel

-Up and under move

-More reverse layups (like the spectacular move of Tmac and the two handed creative reverse shot of VC)

-More bodies diving and hitting the floor

-2000 USA Team (players with their young faces like VC with hair and KG is a bit slimmer)

-Ref's also running on the court

-Signature free throws for players

-Bring back the button to create space

-The main man should be holding the trophy after winning the championship (not just the big man)

-No more game crashes please...

Thanks and GOD bless... :)

One thing that was said but really needs improving is the way the players react when winning the finals. It seems that it was getting worse even though it wasn't that good before.
