Although I think this is actually just updated Settings and the inclusion of a Sliders file as well. The actual rosters seem to be the same. Somebody should confirm or deny this.

if you installed the game under a user in your XP, then you need to open the user folder instead of the administrator folder

example:

C:\Documents and Settings\XP user account goes here\Application Data\2K Sports\NBA 2K9\Saves

i think the folder is hidden try this:
go to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\ then click on tools\ folder options then click on the view tab and there you can show the hidden folders..

I've been working on some sliders and tweaks of coaching sliders which is part of the roster file, I was wondering if I could release them along with my sliders? I would give credit to you as the creator of the roster of course, and just mention that I've tweaked with the sliders, so I wanted to ask if that would be ok with you.

does this update affect rosters, if does, how? i cant see difference, i still have the same roster, for example bulls roster doesnt include demetris nichols and cleveland still has snow in its roster , hasnt he retired? am i doing something wrong? shouldnt this update roster?

The current release is with the default pc sliders, only my coaching slider adjustments. However the next update will include the newest updated rosters from nigu with my own coaching slider adjustments.

The download is simple...look for the green arrow that is pointing towards the right of your screen with all of the characters next to it, and click on it. After the next page loads, click on the button with the graphic of the arrow pointing towards the hard disk.

Will you be including re-rates in this version (1.1)??? Because 2K's ratings suck!! No way James Posey gets to be 78-80, Chris Quinn an unproven PG who almost didn't sign a contract this year, 76, Marcus Banks, probably the Heat starting PG just 74, Bobby Jackson, a shooter and no more, who's always been bench, 77, Beno Udrih, a guy who really is unproven 76, Chris Wilcox just 74?? (what's with the 74 PF's in OKC by the way??), and so on...

I dunno man... seriously Chris Quinn a 76?? James Posey nearly 80??

Quinn struggled last season, and was a starter 'cause there was nothing better in the injury-plagued squad, they almost didn't resign him this season. Marcus Banks is much better at PG, having better shot, court vision and is better at making his teammates better.

Posey is a smallish version of Robert Horry, a good shooter and a respectable defender, who has a couple of rings from the bench, and will never be a solid starter for a team, he should be in the 72-76 shade of ratings.

The Kings case of Bobby Jackson and Beno Udrih is funny also. Jackson has been a 6th man all his life, he's a good shooter, but lacks the size to play the SG and lacks the hands and passing to play PG. Hes's like Eddy House, and should be rated around 72-74.
Beno Udrih is a good ballhandler, and a good passer, and could be a steady PG for most teams, but he can't defend, and has an awful shot. 74 sounds nice.

Just stating my case, sorry to be off-topic but in my opinion 2K ratings are no good.
