It's because of the AMD processors, there are threads on it over at the 2k forums
Opinions are my own.

As I know this 3danalyzer prog is very old and don't have new versions and that's why it does not support 3.0 shaders ! It was made for helping people to play games on ancient videocards which were without 2.0 shader support...

That's why I heard too. It helps emulating old games. I think there's no way to emulate pixel shader 3.0 yet.

No, man. there is no way to play NBA2 K9 for you till you use Ati Radeon 9.600 pro videocard. Cause it support only 2.0 shadering....((

hey, ive been trying to get it to work the last 2-3 hrs. i havent found a solution yet. im reading that bioshock 2, which is made by 2ksports and has the same system requirements including sm 3.0. people have found a way to emulate the shader model 3.0 for shader model 2.0.

i would check this site

http://www.paolofranchini.com/shshock/v ... hp?f=1&t=5

its looks like you have a great system, just without the shader model 3.0. i didnt know alot of video cards until I start reading about it this week. like i stated before the users of bioshock 2 found a way to emulate shader model 3.0 with shader model 2.0. they have the same specific requirements for nba2k9. so, im trying to figure out how to emulate shader model 3.0.

i would suggest downloading the program cj_miranda23
suggested above and just experiment

also look at the link I stated my last post

im doing search engines on google and yahoo about suggestions. i heard there is a program on torrent for emulating shader model 3.0, but i dont use torrent because the site is fulled with viruses and spyware.
