I don't think that for the dunk pack, each increasing number is better than prior one. I think it means that some dunk packs are for big men while others are for those who can barely get up there. However, I'm sure that for the best dunks, the crazy ones by Carter, are dunk pack 16 which also makes me wonder why Jordan is 16 while Carter is 12. BTW, has anyone seen the between the legs dunk yet?

somehow...the guy who told me the above "3-pt dunk" method said the "dunk pack" rating was the distance that a player could make a dunk/layup
eg. a 16 rating meant a player can make dunk/layup if you press the "shoot" button 16 units (dont know what actually the "unit" stand for) in front of the basket

i think it's quite odd to explain like this however... :? :?

It works in the game, but it's not actually a 3 pt dunk, just a long 2 pt dunk, i tried it a few playing in a game on fastbreaks, when you're playing/controlling the player, it looks like he jump from behind the line, but if you look at the replay, you can see that he's just taking his steps and jumps from just inside the arc. In a exhibition game, it never counted as 3, just 2

Dunk pack means only the type of dunks a player can do. 16 ist a special dunk pack for jordan and julius erving. the most exciting dunk pack is nr 12, for players like t-mac, carter and so on. there are special dunk packs for C/PF, SF and PG/S. most of the players have an simple dunk pack.
