Vacation!! Woohoo!! 10 whole days away from the fucking job. I haven't planned anything special, that way I don't spend money and end up having to work there longer to save it back up. Otherwise I would go to Vegas and binge.

Sounds great P, nothing like a short break to recharge when your 9-to-5 has been getting you down. Going somewhere or doing something special is great but sometimes it's nice just to have that time to yourself and know that you don't have to make that daily commute and deal with all the usual crap.
That's pretty poor service, the least they could have done was reply to your email to regurgitate the same info that has already proven unhelpful.

Our internets connection is teh sucks.
I swapped the cable into the built-in LAN and it became like that. Before swapping from the PCI LAN, the internets connection is at 0 sent and 0 received.

You really received 47 million packets in 45 minutes? I'm around 90 million for both sent and received and my internet has been up for 28 days.

That does suck, sorry to hear about it X. If you don't mind me asking, are there any kids involved? If so it's understandable if he doesn't want to make it ugly, even she's going to make it a necessary evil.

yep, he has a kid, & that is the reason he won't push it....I think he'll stand up for himself, but he won't use lies & deceit to win, which his ex will....he has a middle aged female judge, probably jaded by men before, so he's screwed....by the sounds of what he told me, she had already made her mind up on him before he opened his mouth....let's hope the facts win on the day....ahh well, such is life if one person walks out with $120,000 equity in a house & the other walks out with nothing & has to pay more than 1/2 of their net wages on alimony....

Ouch, the odds certainly do seem to be stacked against him but hopefully he can stand strong and some fairness will prevail. It certainly doesn't help when men enter these proceedings perceived as deadbeat fathers and unworthy of their fair share, no matter how far that is from being the truth.

It makes flatout UC, assassin's creed, grid, gears of war, mercs 2, GH3, spore, world in conflict, & pure it's bitch, and it runs crysis ok too.
I never checked the little box in nvidia control panel to activate the SLI mode so that my computer uses both 8800GTs instead of just one
....

The 8800GT is a good card but the SLI (or XFire) systems still lack maturity for now. When it first appeared maybe 3 years ago, it was announced as if it'd be the future of gaming and it'd be unavoidable to be able to play the most recent games, but the fact is, SLI setups come with their load of conflicts and tech issues, no matter which drivers you're using. As far as performance and price, you're better off getting a single newer card that will be less power hungry, less prone to issues, and will roughly give you the same fps.
