I think your barry is not very clean around the mouth area..Blending it with EA's already decend barry texture will look better.

you can keep your players.dbf but you'll have to do some manual DBF editing. You have to change the SHTSIG1 for the following players :


- JJ Redick > 801
- Rafer Alston > 800
- Anderson Varejao > 802

by SHTSIG1 I'm referring to the last column in players.dbf

sorry nba_baller but I dont think a batch file is neccessary since this patch only updates a small number of sigshots.

Since a few people suggested that T-MAC needs more work, I will work more on him but I need you guys to tell me which aspect of him needs work. To me, it already look a lot like T-MAC since I'm a big fan of him and I know exactly how he look but I dont mind working more on him since you guys said so. For your information, 3 pictures are used for making his bhed and over 30 pictures are used as a reference. Maybe he looks odd to you guys because of the expression on his face.. the way his face elements are organised was meant to give him a serious look and that was probably why he doesn't look quite right to you. I'll show you a preview of his "normal" version soon and we'll see if he looks more common to you.

dont worry, a very good friend of mine who is also a big T-MAC fan has already pointed out things which seriously needs improvement.

As for Kris leaving NLSC, I think it's because his tasks are done. There is nothing more to be done with Live 08 for him, he has done such a great job on the aiact that it has reached its limit. I think it couldn't get any better. For him there will be no point to continue and I believe patching the same thing for almost a year is quite boring. Sad to see a dedicated patcher leaving but I'm sure that we will still see Kris here regularly.

As for your request, I will do it for you if I remember to do so. I'm not working on anything else except for the Houston pack at the moment. But as for CP3, I'll make his head bigger, thanks for notifying.

I can, but I think the sky hook should be his GTM, not his sigshot.

I'm going to take a wild stab that you're not a fan of my patches and that it's your first time browing in my thread.

First thing first, the EA logo has nothing to do with my patch, it's just that my patch is called "extreme animations" which has the initial "EA" so I used EA's logo just for the sake of it.

Extreme Animations is a name that I gave to my animations patch. It will updates sigshots and GTMs for specified players. Vol. 1 updates sigshots for all the first round rookies plus some nba players. Vol. 1.5 updates sigshots for the players listed above.

I hope I made myself crystal clear, and I still dont understand why you dont understand what my Extreme Animations is because my post is somewhat self-explanatory.

Sorry but I wont post a preview for the updated T-MAC yet since you guys will say that it's off again considering that the changes are not very obvious.

Anyway, things that I've fixed were:

- Shadows on the face
- The iris
- The eyelids
- Redo the jawshape
- Made the ears a tad narrower
- Redo the hairline

anywho I can say that he really looks like T-MAC now and eventhough the changes are not that visible it really does make a difference.

Alright, just for your playing pleasure.. I really do hope that this is the last time I have to explain this though.


First you open players.dbf using DB Commander. Click on the "NAME" column and press CTRL+F. A search box will appear. Type in the last name of the players that you want to edit. In this case, Redick.




Now that you have found the players, go to the "SIGSHT1" column which is the last column. Just click on the box and type the correct numbers in.

at first, i tried it with Kris's aiact but the game hanged then i tried Nigu's aiact and it worked perfectly. but the problem is that i found some of the players have weird dunks and lay-ups. what do you think is the problem master? thanks in advance..

it sure is sad, but life goes on mate. I'll try not to "overgrow" his head and not shrinking it at the same time. Good news, I certainly will give Calderon a shot since he is one of the CF stucked in the corners of my mind. Dont know about Gibson yet though, if his headshot from this year's media day is better than last year then I would definitely give him a try. The reason why most patchers failed to manipulate a great Gibson was because the quality of the pictures from last year's media day. By the way, what's ingat palagi? Is that tagalog?

you gotta be kidding me. I never remove the layups from the aiact and other people obviously dont have problems with layups like you did. Your problem wasn't caused by my patch, and I'm terribly sorry for I could not help you out. Try asking Kris or now known as PC about this issue and he might be able to come up with a solution for you.

thanks for all the compliments and support mp_yraola. You have been one of the most glorious fans I've ever had. I am really impressed and grateful at the same time.. I dont know how to say thank you to you.. I've always have your support and you've been amazing to me. Anyway, enough about the happy moments. I'm not responsible for those weird laups and dunks because nigu was the one who made them. You can ask him to remove it though I highly doubt that he will.

Major fixes/tweaks:

- Reconstruct the jaw shape to make it narrower
- Made his head a tad thinner
- Made the top of his head rounder and longer though it doesn't look much longer in the preview because of the angle it's taken in
- Made the wrinkles under the eyes more visible
- Add shadows besides the nose and at the corner of the mouth
- Brings the ears closer to the jaw in the sideview
- Renew the shadows on the bhed to enhance the level of realism
- Add new shadows where appropriate
- Renew the iris
- Made the eyelids a lot bigger to emphasise the famous sleepy look


All the things that I've added each contributed to make T-MAC more real. Especially all those shadows besides his nose and at the corners of his mouth.. if you look at a lot of photos of T-MAC you will see that he really has those shadows in the respective areas...


The picture in the lower left corner illustrate what is new in this preview. Compare it to the picture above it and you will be able to see the changes clearly.

Big, big thanks to CHNXiaoju for pointing areas which needs improvements out and for providing me with quality pictures to use as a reference. Thanks bro.. I owe you.

Believe you me, I spent 3 hours looking at about 200 pictures of T-MAC. In my opinion this looks a hell lot like T-MAC now. And to be honest, it actually look a lot better in the game than in the preview. A lot better. If you still think that it's off in some way you better say it out loud because I'm satisfied with the results as of now.

Oh by the way, I will make another version with beard... It's going to be great!! Look forward to that.
