I'll be away for a few days beginning this Wednesday since I'm flying to Canada for the NBA Live 09 Community Event. It's a 15 hour, non-stop flight there and back, which means I'll probably be in the air or in the airport almost as long as I'm in the country. It's certainly a worthwhile trip though.

Back as of this morning and despite the conference being informative and well worth the trip, I'm glad to be home. I'm also very glad I invested in a new iPod before I left since it lasted the entire trip back and still has plenty of charge left, whereas my old one still struggles to last more than an hour.

Got back from the Canaries on Sunday. Had to take three fucking flights home, including landing and taking off in MAD (Terminal 4 too, which obviously overcomplicated an already complicated situation,) which was a nightmare because of the Spanair crash that had happened just four days before.

Also, I had the brilliant idea of having a beer just before we left for the airport (at 8 AM) and cut my middle finger open with the bottle opener and/or bottle cap and/or bottle. Had to get stitches at the airport's hospital. I can't do anything with my right hand but the I can give the finger to people without them knowing... and I'm tanned as a son of a bitch so yeah, I'm pretty happy.

Anyway, glad to be back. I probably won't be very active until Christmas but I'll be around. Anyone willing to fill me up on what's been going on the past month? Any highlights?
