Live 2003 is a great game.

I've come to find out that i'm a big simulation fan. First I had madden 2002 and for about a year, on and off, I have been tweaking it to be realistic, so then i buy 2003 and I tweak that one too. So about a month into it i realize that I have some grey hairs.....being only 19 It freaked me out. I went to gamestop and picked up NFL Fever 2k3. And it made me realize that all this stress on making a realistic game was killing my blood pressure. So the doctor prescribed that I have and equal amount of hardcore sim and flasy arcade. So when I get frustrated with madden to the point of grey hair, I go and play fever and calm down. So thats where Live comes in. When I am frustrated with NBA 2k3 I come and play NBA Live 2003. This is such a great game for someone who is trying to relax and just have fun. although I'm quite sure that It can be tweaked to be realistic, but my heart couldn't take it. Im pretty sure EA wanted to make a game for the laid back flashy arcade peeps and they succeded. Man I love playing 1 on 1 and kicking Kobe's ass. No ones going to read this so I should probaly get to the point.......crap I forgot my point.....o yeah.....This game is so much fun. If you have a long list of issues with this game then it's not for you...go play basketball or stand on the corner and collect money for an xbox. If you want a sim for the pc than tweak live and send me money..........NBALiveG....out

hehe, interesting way to look at it and you're right....it is a fun game if you take it for an arcade basketball game and not expect a simulation.

however a lot of people like myself predominantly use the PC for gaming and its really disapointing to only have this b-ball game on the market and have it be arcady.

just my 2 cents though.

My biggest complain about live 2003 is the cpu cheats. It makes me miss dunks,layups,shots....everything, and they are going to make huge 3 points. and the player won't contest the shot by putting up the hands.
Defensive AI could be better, offense in the game is pretty good.
