Tony, What about shoes? Is is possible to add shoes to player patches or do we need EA Graph for that?

BTW-- DAMN, those patches are HOT!

i am currently in the process of making new shoes... so i don't really know how to assign them to the specific player yet, but i'm sure it will be possible

right now i'm doing the aj17+ (for mj), air signature player (for pierce)

since i'm not sure what other players are wearing atm (haven't checked yet), i haven't been doing other kicks.

I like the Duncan one...it's better than that silly EA face which they never seem to be able to get right...

To assign a shoe to a specific player you name the individual shoe FSH file "bsho.fsh" and place it in the same xplayer directory where you put the players cyberface FSH file.

Yeah Since Pierce Chopped the half-fro. But regardless the faces are one again a sample of the Live patching master at work. Sh!t they should put the Spree Preview up at NBA.com for Sprewell's photo!

Good TD & MJ also. I dont know why EA gives Tim a hairstyle he hasn't had since 1999-2000

Great dawg...

Postby Kob Master on Fri Dec 06, 2002 2:05 am

Great Tony...
As always, so no doubt...
But about headbands in general. What about not putting the headbands on the players faces already in the players fsh file... What about updating the generous headbands of EA, with the headband structure and the NBA logo. I mean all the colours. I don't know where they are located and how they look in EAGE... but I think this more efective, coz the headband of your pierce isn't that straight, accurate and 3D, I mean the shape that differs from the regular headshape of any players. Another point would be, that you can switch the headbands like u want it, manually in the players.dbf for players like Iverson who actually wears 3 type of colors in his games, so that you don't have to make 3 different Iverson patches with just 3 different headband colors. U get my point? I know that it might not be possible to do, so far, coz the new EAGE isn't out, But probarbly that might be a sollution in the future. So, just did that headband update one time, don't have to worry about up coming headbands in any new player patches, just make a bat file, that puts that specific headband to the player...
It's just an idea, but not too bad, or???
Aight, if people got other opinions, no problem, just let me know

Peace, Alex

i primarily removed ea's band on pierce because it was too big on his head, and he doesn't wear a big one like that... it made him look less like himself i thought, so i put it on the fsh, since he always wears green anyway.

other players who change the color of the bands regularly, i will not put them on the fsh.

and i plan not to edit ea's headbands... i thought it might be a good idea myself, and other people also suggested it, but i don't have that much time on my hands.

Damn you tony! (:D)
i'm making a paul pierce too! with the skin different skin tone and all... :)
*sigh*
Why compete with the best...there's no point... Actually...i made mine better than i normally do...i used Adobe Photoshop...i used to use PSP ...Adobe rulez!
Good work on all patches. Except there's something about Jordan that dosn't look right...his cheekbones look too high or something...But that's silly EA's fault for the silly EA headshape.
