I still play it, hitting people with the baseball bat is probably never going to get old for me.
Opinions are my own.

Good news about the PC. I haven't played it for a while but that's very typical of how I play GTA. I play it a fair amount when I first get it, take a break, then get stuck into it again.

There are a LOT of flying rats. It's taking forever... and majority of the time when you kill one, you'll get a police star due to firing the gun. It's usually easy enough to evade the 1 or 2 stars, but more of a nuisance. I think I only have Alderney left finish off for flying rats, then go to steal all of Stevie's cars, and then should be at 100%.

Heh, whenever I get a star I start running over people and shooting at cops so I can get it to 3 stars and have fun with the pursuit. Alot of times I will get full health and armor just so I can do that. Ok, now I have to play.

Pdub, why are you so happy that it's coming for the PC, when you're already playing it on the 360?

It'll look better on PC and mostly, it'll be moddable as hell. In San Andreas on PC, you could change the look of just about anything.

I loved putting in a bunch of new cars in all the GTA 3 games. Some of them made the screen lag alot if there was more then one, but they sure looked awesome with chrome 3d rims, speedometers, custom models, etc.

Yeah, there was no really nice character texture mod in San Andreas, but there were some really amazing vehicle mods (very detailed Ferrari, BMW,...), and some cool environment texture mods as well (skies, street sign, buildings,...). It can make a world of difference when you have a bunch of them.

San Andreas have some nice multiplayers, like SA-MP and MTA.
Hope that GTA IV will be on PC. 8-)

I have the game for a month now, and I am still enjoying it alot. I really take my time playing these games. I think it's much more satisfying taking your time betwwen missions, doing side missions and just driving around than just rushing through the story. So it happens that I have only finished ~ 45%. At the moment I really like searching the cars for Stevie. (Btw Anyone knows where I can get an Infernus other than in the theft for Stevie?)

After you complete the Bernie(Florian) missions, he gives you an Infernus as a gift.

Just finished the 'Revenge' thread - now I'm on 'Deal'.

On the last mission, I was finally on the helicopter and I flew it into the water. :|
I beat it the next try though.
I'm at 95 % done so I need to do a few more side missions.

Just got back from NYC, amazed at all the things that I saw in real life that was reflected ingame. Like the Corona Park and the huge circle things and the huge towers, and then times square, the really really really high highways with the dip down in the middle that brings you to street level, all that. Very impressed.

More details about the PC version, including:

The graphics engine has also been improved, with more realistic lighting and a higher level of character and environment detail, according to Eurogamer. Resolutions up to 2560x1600 will be supported.

Sounds pretty good so far

Has anyone found the graffiti tributes to previous GTA protagonists in GTAIV?
