Substitution patch

I know there is an official patch online to fix the substitution bug. But the patch is made for live 07 installed in default location. My live 07 is not installed in C:\Program Files\EA Sports. So how do I fix the bug? Anyone?

It is not made just for the default installation. It will find your installation and then patch it. If you are getting an error during the patching process like "old file not found" or something, then you need to reinstall the game from scratch and then apply the patch.
