CUSTOM TEAM

I followed all these steps, but team still doesn't work. My team has a red jersey in the presentation screen and I can't start the match: the game crashes on loading. Could anyone explain me why?

I am having this problem right now. it seems the solution is in some other thread that doesnt work.. please help

hey, whenever i try to save the teams.dbf, it saves, but without the team. when i open it again, the team i made is gone. why is this?

i started a franchise, and im playin like the 10th season. but now i want to put the charlotte bobcats into the franchise too, how i do that?
ive been tryin, but it always crashes. i edited the dbfs, includin the SCHEDULE one, but in the game, there is no schedule for the bobcats, they dun appear in the standings menu, and when i try to see the matchup review for the bobcats, the pc crashes: sayin error in mydocuments/nba live/workingdb/team.dbf
someone help me, i really want to continue the franchise, cos took me so long, and i dun wanna start all over again.

I'm tryin to make custom jerseys. I have the buni and everything else right, but when I play with the jerseys the numbers don't show up and the name is replaced by Red lines in an arch. I have a dehome_num.fsh, does that have something to do with it?

what do I have to do to make a custom team for this edition of NBA Live? I'd like to make my own teams but I don't know how to.

Maybe I succeed into putting Charlotte Bobcats in my already started Franchise (since season 2011/12).

HOW TO PUT A CUSTOM TEAM IN AN ALREADY STARTED FRANCHISE

First of all

1. end your season in franchise mode and save it after the Finals (in my case 2011 Finals), but don’t proceed to the offseason;
2. backup your roster save (my is 000) and your franchise save (my is 009) folders, if something goes wrong

Using a BDF editor

3. insert your custom team in the roster save (my is Charlotte Bobcats) in location.dbf, coaches.dbf, teams.dbf, teamgear.dbf, teaminfo.dbf and create also new players in players.dbf if you like;
4. insert also in the right directories the jerseys, the logos and the court

After that:

5. start playing a new franchise also with the custom team (I put Hornets in Midwest and Bobcats in Central);
6. simulate seasons until you arrive to the year you are currently playing with your old franchise (in my case 2010/2011 season);
7. save the new franchise (my folder is 010) after the Finals and exit to Windows

Now:

8. copy location.dbf, coaches.dbf, teams.dbf, teamgear.dbf, teaminfo.dbf and SEASON.DAT from 010 folder and paste files into 009 folder (NOT PLAYERS.DBF);
9. start again NBA Live 2003 and load your old franchise;
10. proceed to the offseason and you’ll find your custom team able to be selected.
11. ENJOY!!!

I have also simulated many other seasons (up to 2017) with 30 teams and the game didn’t crash.
