Well, of course that is assuming that either Garnett or Ray Allen does not get injured in the playoffs.

Yeah, or Pierce, or Kobe Bryant, or Pau Gasol, or the arena doesn't collapse in the middle of a game or...
And the only guy on the Boston team who has won it all is Cassell

So?

playoff experience means a lot.

And thank you all for making this thread, the most viewed thread. :chug:

Playoff experience means little. And ten gazillion times less than NBA "experts" claim. (And has nothing to do with what you were talking about...which was rings...)

Everyone has to win their first title sometime. The Celtics' lack of rings will not limit their ability to win a title.

And if you want to talk experience because you think it is mystical, all of the big three have been to Conference Finals, Eddie House has been to a Conference Finals, James Posey also has a ring.

I think individual experience in a team means little... you should have a team with experience like spurs or pistons, following wiht the C's players...what about rondo experience in the playoffs...come on, thats little-.

And because of that Rondo is guaranteed to play so absolutely horrible he will eliminate anything else his team does?

haha, at least I think we agree that Rondo has been sang too many praises while riding the tailcoats of the big three. Glen davis though was a bit of a surprise for me. I thought he would be the next mike sweetney.

A clash between the Celtics vs Lakers would be sweet. The NBA would really be happy cause this would be a big cash cow. Now, anybody here would now how to get '07-'08 rosters into this game?

btw, I think this is supposed to be dennis johnson wearing number 3

Hopefully we can close out the Nuggets tonight so the guys can get a little break and relax their bones before the 2nd round. I expect a great effort out of them tonight so I hope we come out matching their initial intensity then pull away down the stretch.

All Lakers need is Odom to step up. Assuming Kobe performs as always.

No one in that Spurs roster can guard Odom. Duncan is busy with Pau while the other Spurs' big are too slow for Odom and the other guards are too small for Odom to defend him effectively.

They can put Orberto and Ginobili on him, and Hope he gets into foul trouble with Ginobili guarding him. Odom isn't a big enough scorer to guarantee a win for the Lakers. But still, the Lakers have an excellent chance on their hands. But, if and when the Lakers do reach the finals, the question is, how well will the Lakers match up with the Celtics. Especially since the Lakers bowed out to the Celtics twice in the season, with a standing of 0-2. But, of course this was when the Lakers didn't have Gasol.

Edit: I was drunk and incoherent

True... the Celtics, although they did win 2 series already, seems to be struggling to get it done. But even with a tied series and on a hunch, I think Boston has a better chance of getting to the finals.

This is a good chance for the Lakers to inch closer to the Celtics record for most championships. And Phil Jackson chance to overtake Red Auerbach's record for most championships by a coach.
