Never mind the lane violations, his shooting form borders on being a violation since you can't intentionally fake a free throw. I guess it's not technically a fake but the pause in his motion kind of acts like one.

Thats some funny shit. I mostly agree with kenny smith and his comments....the guy definitly brings flair and excitement to the dunk contest. I remember that amstrong "dunk"...I was dying.

I think this layup by JJ Reddick is worse then Welsey Person's.

haha #30 on Kansas tries to go for the windmill, and halfway he's like "oh shit the ball!", and falls flat on his face. good shit.

And David Wesley hits nothing but the bottom of the backboard.

Have seen all of those before, but still they are funny. If I´m right the #30 is Julian Wright, who attempts the dunk. By the way has that countdown, where Finley does a cartwheel, showed here?

The JJ Redick layup shows why he still picks bench splinters out of his ass every year.

Tough call on Redick's layup vs Wesley's layup. Wesley's was probably a little easier though, a little more open but both were ugly.

Reddick should stick to being "perhaps the best shooter in basketball history"

Some more dunk contest bloopers:

Allan Houston's doesn't really belong in that list in my opinion since he did exactly what he was trying to do and the dunk went down, it just wasn't particularly emphatic.

That was, what I was talking about :P Allan Houston, the Lakers one(Ceballos?) and Finley´s cartwheel were the best ones imo.

Check out the crowd at about 2:22, very impressive  , nowadays crowd don´t get that much into the game, I hope to see this year will be again like 1984 :P

Little blooper found its way on the official NBA youtube channel.

You only need to watch the first 30 seconds or so.

Gotta love bloopers making their way into the final cut.

Nowadays the NBA is probably firmer about fans running onto the court, even in mass as they did in that video.
