Additional Release Notes
- As with the NBA Live 08 update, Alonzo Mourning is in the Free Agent pool to allow both Kasib Powell and Stephane Lasme to appear on the Heat's active roster. In the Uninjured version, Mourning is on the Heat and Lasme is in the Free Agent Pool. Once again, it's not a perfect solution but the best one available seeing as NBA Live 07 does not support more than 15 players on a team's roster.
For those wondering why Mourning is the player on the free agents, I decided he'd be the most appropriate due to his season ending injury, the fact he's a free agent at the end of the year and the strong possibility he'll retire at the season's end. I thought it more appropriate to include him in the Uninjured version of the rosters, however.
- Again repeating a note that was posted when the NBA Live 08 update was released, I'm not sure about updates during the Playoffs at this point. If I don't release any updates during the postseason, the next update will come shortly after the NBA Finals have finished and then the offseason updates will commence not long (but not immediately!) after the Draft.
- Feedback and corrections are welcome as always, but please make sure you're basing your feedback on the latest version, you've checked to make sure what you're suggesting hasn't already been done and in the case of ratings suggestions, the more specific you are (and the more evidence you can provide to justify the change), the more helpful it is. Remember, constructive criticism is useful; insults and snide comments are not.

again, the best nba live roster patch up to date! you did remarkable job andrew.
there are only two mistakes i noticed so far:
- you made a mistake by not putting derek anderson into bobcats' active roster (for uninjured rosters) because now it's loaded with small forwards and power forwards and only two guards (boykins and carrol), hope you fill fix it in some future releases
- another mistake is regarding toronto raptors starting five - a long before playoffs andrea bargnani was replaced by rašo nesterović as a raptors' starting center but you put bargnani instead of nesterović, i hope you'll fix that too

I agree that Derek Anderson would have been a better choice. I'll keep that in mind for the next version. For the Uninjured rosters, I would prefer to have Bargnani starting at centre as he was for a bulk of the season as the current starting lineup isn't ideal for NBA Live 07's substitution patterns; naturally I have it that way for the regular update but I'd prefer not to have it that way in the Uninjured update. It wasn't a mistake, it was a deliberate choice.

okay... however, i hope that we will not have to wait too long for the next release, because there are only few things to fix for v 1.22.

As I said in the release notes, I'm still undecided as to what I'll be doing through the Playoffs. Assuming I don't release any updates until the final 07/08 season patch, the next update will be coming in mid-June (after the NBA Finals) with the offseason updates starting after the Draft (most likely early on in July).
Tue Apr 29, 2008 2:56 am
anyway, i hope the next release will be just before nba finals begin. of course, i will provide you all the feedbacks again and since there is no much work to do this time, just only few corrections, i don't see a reason to postpone it any longer.

well, i must admit that i'm eager to feedback you those couple of issues and to have the best nlsc nba live 07 roster patch of all the times as soon as possible.

I can't say for sure right now but I wouldn't rule it out, so if you've got the feedback by all means post it.
Wed Apr 30, 2008 11:03 pm
andrew, two question before i start with the feedback:
1. is it possible to have black socks in nba live 07?
2. can you edit numbers on those jerseys in the menu when we choose with what kind of jerseys (home, away, alternate, vintage) we want to play? i would like to have all the teams have their best player's number on that preview jersey.
Thu May 01, 2008 10:59 am
I'm not sure about the socks, but in regards to the numbers the one that appears on the jersey preview will always be the number of the highest rated player on the roster.
Fri May 02, 2008 11:08 pm
is that number set by the game itself or you can edit which number to be shown?
and now, let's star with the feedback:
ROSTER ISSUES (note: ONLY for UNINJURED rosters):
- charlotte bobcats - put derek anderson into active roster instead of ryan hollins or jermareo davidson
- new jersey nets - put back josh boone as a starting center instead of desagana diop, he only started 2 games because boone had some minor injury and he was starter throughout the season
- detroit pistons - maybe it is a better solution to put juan dixon into active roster instead of lindsey hunter because dixon played more during the season
- miami heat - maybe it is a better solution to put chris quinn into active roster instead of kasib powell because he player more significant role during the whole season
- orlando magic - put tony battie into active roster instead of pat garrity because he playeed much more than garrity before he got injured
- dallas mavericks - jason terry regained his starting job over jerry stackhouse at shooting guard
- los angeles clippers - put smush parker into active roster instead of dan dickau because he plays more significant role (more games, more minutes) than dickau
- sacramento kings - put mikki more as a starting power forward instead of shareef abdur-rahim
all other team rosters are excellent, leave them as they are.
PLAYERS' ACCESSORIES:
- quentin richardson (knicks) - remove all default arm accessories and add him TEAM wristband on right arm, also put him medium size socks instead of long ones
- mike bibby (hawks) - add him TEAM wristband on left arm
- josh smith (hawks) - remove the sleeve from the left arm
- derek anderson (bobcats) - remove all default arm accessories and add him WHITE sleeve on the right arm
- jason williams (heat) - remove all default legs accessories
- chris quinn (heat) - add him BLACK knee pad on the right knee
- maurice evans (magic) - remove left arm accessories
- carlos arroyo (magic) - put him long BLACK socks (if possible and if not, then leave them WHITE)
- caron butler (wizards) - put him short socks instead of medium
- antonio daniels (wizards) - remove all default arms accessories and put him WHITE wristband on left arm
- roger mason (wizards) - remove the headband
- deshawn stevenson (wizards) - remove the sleeve from the arm
- tracy mcgrady (rockets) - remove all legs accessories and put him medium socks instead of long ones
- kwame brown (grizzlies) - remove the headband
- andre brown (grizzlies) - add him TEAM headband, left forearm TEAM band and long socks (black if possible)
- casey jacobsen (grizzlies) - add him left forearm TEAM band
- carmelo anthony (nuggets) - put him short socks instead of medium ones
- j.r. smith (nuggets) - put him short socks instead of medium ones
- yakhouba diawara (nuggets) - remove him all arms/legs accessories
- johan petro (sonics) - remove him all default arms accessories and add him right forearm TEAM band
- carlos boozer (jazz) - remove him wristband from the left arm
- al harrington (warriors) - remove all default arm accessories and add him TEAM wristband on the left arm, also put him short socks
- chris kaman (clippers) - put him short socks and add him BLACK/DARK BLUE long sleeves on both calfs
- corey maggette (clippers) - remove all default arms accessories and add him BLACK wristband on the right arm
- tim thomas (clippers) - remove all default arms accessories and also put him short socks
- al thornton (clippers) - put him medium socks
- kobe bryant (lakers) - change knee accessorie color to PURPLE, not TEAM - because if you leave TEAM color, the color of knee accessorie will switch to yellow and white (depending on jersey color) and he's wearing PURPLE knee accessore
- lamar odom (lakers) - change calfs accessories color to BLACK
- chris mihm (lakers) - remove all arms/legs accessories
- saša vujačić (lakers) - remove all default arms accessories
- d.j. strawberry (suns) - remove the headband
- kevin martin (kings) - put him short socks instead of medium ones

All feedback noted.
MadbaLL wrote:is that number set by the game itself or you can edit which number to be shown?
The number that appears on the jersey previews is the number of the highest rated player that is currently on a team's roster. The only way to edit that number is to edit the player himself, which is obviously not a desirable solution since that player would then have the wrong number. It's not possible to do what you're suggesting, unfortunately.
The Hawks' current jersey is an exception because it doesn't use a number preview, rather it uses 07 since that's the way c0nr4d made it.

MadbaLL wrote:- kwame brown (grizzlies) - remove the headband
- leave him headband but remove him all default arms accessories
- salim stoudamire (hawks) - add him TEAM headband
- kyle korver (jazz) - change socks' color to BLACK (if possible)
regarding those numbers on preview jersey, now i understand how it goes. leave it as it is.

- joe smith (cavs) - put him short socks
- devin brown (cavs) - add him TEAM knee pad on right knee and remove him all arms accessories
note: jason maxiell is starting instead of antonio mcdyess only because mcdyess has a broken nose, i read that on various sports sites, so don't let this confuse you for UNINJURED rosters

few new infos:
- rosters: it came up to my mind that maybe it's better to put trevor ariza into lakers' active roster for UNINJURED rosters because he played more that ira newble who is signed by the lakers after ariza was injured
- of course leave all the coaches as they were during regular season
- rashard lewis (magic) - remove all arms/legs accessories
- c.j. miles (jazz) - remove all arms/legs accessories and add him right forearm TEAM band
- daniel gibson (cavs) - change sleeve color to WHITE or BLACK
