well i got the batch file to finally run but i am getting an "error" message saying an output file could not be deleted and i still dont have the xditties files some still not rite.

how do u get the screenshots to work. i got all the files now but when i extract the last file extractions gives me a error. saying the output file could not be deleted.

Man thanks manlove for this great entertainment, you should start beeing a comedian :mrgreen:

Why you think the one file has the 7z logo on my computer? Because i packed it with 7z. And why is there a commandline program and a batch? Because in that way you don't have to install 7zip......

Make it look like (by filenames) my screenshot and then run batch.bat! And don't rename anything. If you don't succeed then go to 7-zip.org and download the full program. If you don't succeed then, you should give it up :wink:

Man, they are making things complicated for you. Go to your EA SPORTS\NBA Live 08\audio\aems directory and rename the original files to back them up.

xditties.ast > xditties.ast.bak
xditties.abk > xditties.abk.bak

Find and download HJSplit and WINRAR off the internet. Install/Run HJSplit and select JOIN. Find the rap08.7z.001 file and select it. Once you start it, it will join the 4 001/002/003/004 files in the same directory and notify you when it is done. Install/Run WINRAR. Browse to the folder where the rap08.7z file is and open it with WINRAR. There should be two xditties files, one with an ABK and one with an AST extension. Extract them to your NBA Live 08\audio\aems directory.

Why, when finish extracting, the xdittes.ast and xditties.abk files not appears ? They must appear in same folder, where all this files ?

If extraction finished successfully the files will appear in same directory as the batch is in.
If you don't succeed use 7-zip or try workaround using Pdubs instructions

im using your patch right now.. theyre really great..
i guess the only problem is the volume of the background sounds.. i think its a bit loud...

No i don't think so, because i'm too busy at the moment and creating such patch is much work

But i'll release some usefull tools and a tutorial for this, so that everybody can create such patches. You have to remember, that we were only 2 people creating this patch. Probably some guys will group and then it will speed up

still no dice whatsoever. i used the hj-split program and files are there. but when i run the batch file at the end of the extraction, it keeps giving me the following error "cannot delete output file x:xxx/xxxxx. what does this mean. and the archive give me error to saying it dont exist or damaged.

Why do you run the batch file?!?
With hjsplit you merge the files to one. Then after that you can normally open it with Winrar

? You can only open it with winrar when merged!

You might have to redownload the files. I am uploading a single rar archive of the two files as I type. It should be done in a few hours. I will post the link when it is done.
