Real Atmosphere Patch releast!

next_warrior, maybe you are using the "nba live 2005 intro" patch which I dont...

ow yeah..wright..I totaly forgot

I've downloaded all 4 files, downloaded Rapunpack in the same folder (later try to download in different folder but with same effect) in which are rap.08.7z.1, rap08.7z.2, rap08.7z.3 and rap08.7z.4 files, run Rapunpack and then have get 7za, batch, 7-zip Help file and 3 .txt files (copying, license and readme)...
Then I run batch file and nothing is happens!

I've downloaded next-warriors tutorial and I see I wasn't doing nothing wrong!

I don't know what to do!

Please help...

Please upload rap08.7z.004 and rapunpack.exe rapidshare or mediafire.Because Webspace not work I need a this patches please help

EDIT: Well just one question: What about the player introduction scene? As your patch sais, the player introduction is changed I noticed that my game doesn't even have that anymore... All that shows up in my game is the warm up scene, no player introduction. Does this have to be that way? looks like something's wrong there...

Yes real introduction is only shown on allstar, but we also replaced warmup songs. Simply check your preferences, if all volume sliders are turned up...

audio preview is ok too..

dont be kidding, what do i have to do, put a microphone next to my speakers and record sound while playing the game? :lol: its really a stupid idea... by the way previews are shown before the patch is released, but not after.... And I think its pretty clear what this patch does in the 1st post... and in the 1st page theres also a bunch of posts that says what this patch does... and what files it contains...

Video and audio previews are made using FRAPS.... and its very easy. Siply run NBA live, run FRAPS and youve got a video. The patch is rather big thats why i wanted to know if its worth downloading. Ive tried it now and its awsome. Just the adams family theme is played way too often.. Or is it just me ??!!! And SkyLine03LT be nicer to people who respect your work... If it is yours (im not shure).... hawk 3y3 will you make a tutorial for us so that we could change somethin in the patch ??? Its great just needs small adjustments.

I will release a tutorial and a bunch of self created tools in the next few days. Due we are not much experied sound editors sounds sometimes not sound very good, i noticed that. Wouldn't have a problem, if someone steps up and optimizes the mod.

Sometimes i wonder if you guys actually read what is written here in forum.
To give you a reminder: Arena Jukebox is NOT editing xditties.ast! It's an external player....

Great job on the patch. I especially like that you were able to add music to timeout cutscenes because when I play with the original xditties, no music plays. I also noticed alot more music playing during a normal game then with the original. The reverb/echo and song volume could be improved to fit the stadium atmosphere, but it's still a great job on the patch.

Thanks Problem with adjusting to arena is, that songs then have to be very soft so that you might not here them anymore. But we'll see if someone can make it better

Did you really unpack the rapunpack into same directory as the part files? Because when you didn't the commandline program will notice, that the file is not there and will close rapidly without doing anything

Yes! I unpack rapunpack into the same folder, then double clicking on batch.bat and nothing's happen

Maybe I need some program to install...

That's not the problem, of course I can hear the music. But I would have loved to be able to enjoy the music a little bit longer with an additional player introduction. It's to short with the warm up scene only.
But it's not your fault I guess...

But hey that's not too bad, I love this patch anyway...
Played the playoffs yesterday... Don't know if anyone of you has dene that yet, but the music from before and after the game is changed aswell, it's very well done.

What about that "Nba Live 2005 Intro" Patch? I've been trying to find it... without succes.

Hey, I'll try to explain it again, since people seem to have problems with the installation. Maybe you're doing something wrong,... maybe.

step by step.

1. Make a new folder: "Real Atmosphere Patch" (e.g.)

2. Put rap08.7z.001; rap08.7z.002; rap08.7z.003 and rap08.7z.004 in that Real Atmosphere Patch Folder.

3. Put rapunpack.exe into the Real Atmosphere Patch Folder.

4. Run rapunpack.exe and choose the Real Atmosphere Patch folder as unpacking directory --> you get three new files: 7za.exe; 7-zip.chm; batch.bat

5. Run the batch.bat file --> you get xditties.abk and xditties.ast

6. Put xditties.abk and xditties.ast in the ...Nba Live 08\audio\aems folder.

Everything you do, has to be done in the same folder
If this doesn't work I don't know what could be the problem. But I hope it helps.

I did it!

The problem was in "[1]" in the name of parts like "rap08[1].7z.001"!

After I rename it to "rap08.7z.001 it works!"

We only replaced the xditties.ast file. No xcrowd or any speech files were edited... in-game ditties we edited are all played in different nba games, so we didnt include any exact team ditties, by the way they are all played randomly so if we would done it your pistons songs would be played in toronto, miami etc. courts too
