babies............stop complaining....learn how to play

hi,
I read a lot of postings here. what is it all about?

a lot of guys are crying about the game. complaints about the intro, about the creating player issue, about the not included 3-point contest, about the gamespeed, about the fastbreaks, about the blocks, about the defense a.s.o.

BULLSHIT!!!

it seems most of you little babies don´t know much about basketball. i used to play nba live 2001 a 10000000 times and i think i understand the game. so i hoped the 2003 issue would bring a lot of new stuff to the game. and there is a lot of new stuff. i don´t need a 2001-clone where i am able to beat the cpu again with 40+ in my first game in 2003.

i used to play on superstar-level and had definitely no probs to beat the cpu´s ass in the 2001 series in the end. always beat the cpu by 30-40+. it was boring.
but now there is a new challenge. learn to play zone defense. create good shots. PLAY!!!!!
YEAH that´s what I like. my first two games vs. the CPU on all-star-level with 9 minute quarters was a bust. he kicked my ass out of the arena.......then i printed the game stats and made a little analysis about it. no matter what......i had to lose this games. 34 turnovers, 32% FG, 12 Turnover-deficit. so c´mon...i couldn´t win that game.

then i took attention on my defense. i played zone......and it got better.......the CPU-FG% decreased, my turnovers decreased by creating better offense. fastbreaks by CPU was no factor......after that i checked the stats again by printing and ...........YEAH!!! absolute realistic stats....
i hold the CPU to 40.5%FG and scored 59.7% by myself.......it outrebounded the CPU by 39:25 and had a assist/turnover ratio of +7 (32:25) and forced the CPU to 33 turnovers and won the game by 101:84
compare these stats to a ESPN-Boxscore of a NBA-game and you´ll see......it´s realistic stats.

so what the hell are you guys complaining about? what do i care about the crappy 3-point contest. I played 5 times at all. and trading a draftpick might be a nice add but really said.....i don´t care about that shit.

you cannot play defense? fine then you have to loose the game. that´s fine. cannot create offense? just slammin´? loose the game. that´s fine.
never heard about eduardo najera who cannot score? you cannot score with him? that´s fine.
it seems like a lot of guys just want to slam it. not playing just slamming. better try the training mode and slam, slam, slam, slam..........
try to watch a nba-game on tv......look what they do. look how they move....ever heard of transition? ever heard of trap defense?
basketball ain´t a slam contest.
SO STOP COMPLAINING!!!!!!

and i am glad that the times of playing online against a complete crappy playing schoolkid who only plays basketball like he does at highschool warmup like "runnning, slamming, stealing, running, slamming, stealing" which bored me after 2 minutes of playing..........are over. THANKS!!

play real basketball and NBA LIVE 2003 is a knockout-game. you want action bball? try another ballgame.
try to play NBA LIVE 2003 with your keyboard? LOL I can´t believe it.
always play like a 9 year old boy? thanks, that you get your ass kicked in that game.

all in all this is the best NBA-game there ever was. no doubt. just learn to play basketball.

any comments?
Where are the guys playing real basketball with NBA LIVE 2003? are you also complaining?

ouch...i dunno buddy...59.7% is quite a high percentage for a team in real life..at least on a consistent basis..33 turnovers??..holy crap..i don't remember the last time (or if ever) i saw a game with that many turnovers from one team!..those two things are the most glaring problems i see with your stats..

i have to agree with most ppl on this board that offense is insane with the original dbf file..i don't play particularly bad D in this game..but a guy hitting shots all over the floor quite consistently with hands in their face is quite improbable in real life..

i agree nba live 2k3 is quite fun..but only with a good updated roster..the original is shockingly un-NBA-like..i don't like shooting 60% a game and having scores in the 160+ range in 12 min quarters..
