Pdub can u explain to me why i can't use bought shoes from "My NBA Live" like Jordan or A.I.? Before this mode i can use this...

Zahiras, this is the first I have heard of this issue. Sorry I didn't respond to your earlier post.

Are the shoes locked in edit player mode? Do you have real shoes installed? If you do that could be the problem, if you don't than that could be the solution.

I think it may have something to do with your settings. I have two installtions of Live 07. One is my first installation where I do my testing. The other is the in-progress version of the SUM update. Both of these installations use the same settings and rosters. In the testing version, I don't have real shoes installed, and all shoes are named "Nike Shox Elevate" on the edit player screen. In the SUM version, I have the real shoes update, and each shoes has their real name. I didn't have all the Reebok shoes unlocked, so I unlocked them all, and saved my settings. I checked the edit player screen and I could select the Jordan or Answer shoes. I started the SUM version and went to the edit player screen, and all the shoes were names "Nike Shox Elevate" and I was like WTF because I thought that bug was only in the testing version. Also, I couldn't see all the shoes, because I know the last shoe on the list is named Tie Shen, after the modder of the real shoes patch. So I loaded another roster, and saved my settings again, this time with the new SUM roster, inside the SUM version, and all the shoes showed up correctly and had the correct names. I hope this information can help you in some way, because I can't fix the problem if I can't reproduce it on my computer.

How do I uninstall the SUM update, I want to play a dynasty with Andrews rosters. I tried uninstalling the game and deleting all the folders but when I reinstall it won't accept his roster updates?

Copying and pasting the entire main Live directory into a 2nd folder, under a different name.

Early opinions:

Playing Miami vs. Sacremento crashes it everytime (other ppl confirm it) *** EDIT*** I didnt have the tattoo patch installed, this will probably fix.

The ESPN logo that flashes on transitions in the game is annoying, it kinda stays on screen too long. Looks cool but bocks the picture for too long.

Hey guys, great work on the SUM. I've been a long time player since live '98. I've been a follower of roster patches from nlsc since back in live '99 but its only now that i've frequently read this forum, i was a kid back then and didn't know much about forums. Great work as always guys..just giving out my support.

I also liked the idea of a dynasty story like andrew's and am planning to start to blog for one. Am waiting for andrews next roster update next week and hope there could be a sum update release by then. I also trying to tweak Pdub's sliders for 12mins in superstar.

Will the playbooks be set in the next SUM version?
I wanna go for the best realism as possible though it might be hard work.

Is there something wrong with 1.0? If you need newer rosters wait til July 22nd, Andrew is releasing roster post-NBA Draft.

We are waiting for those also.

Question for you guys

I haven't finished importing all the 512 jerseys for SUM. Would you rather have me release it as an add on later, or would you rather wait and have them in the next release? Here are your options.

1. - SUM version 2 can be released soon with real shoes and Andrew's post draft roster + bigh0rt's player accessories and teamgear updates, along with some updated cyberfaces and tattoos, but without any 512 jerseys except for Atlanta's new 2007-08 jerseys by c0nr4d.

2. - SUM version 2 can wait another month or so until all the 512 jerseys are imported along with the fixed court files to prevent crashes when pressing the pause button while using 512 jerseys.

My vote goes to option 1.

I'd go with option 2 if the courts are downsized to 2x as well.

The courts are just being fixed so the game won't crash with the 512 jerseys. Many 2048 resolution textures are being downsized to 1024 and the mipmaps are being removed to save memory, but most of the image quality is still higher then the default EA courts.

i'd go for option 2.. that way we can just play the game smooth!

My vote is for option 1. I'd assume that some people are running the larger textures without a hitch and probably wouldnt want to change them. This way youll have the roster update for these people, and later on when you're finished you can release the downsized courts as 1.1a or something. I'm cool either way, top notch work keep it up.

Vote goes to 1. Waiting another month means getting really close to 08, and losing many gamers who still play 07. So release it as soon as possible, coz personally, i'll have 07 probably uninstalled in September.

Option 1. Just gotta play NBA Live again, and this mod is a must to that!!!! I can wait for the add-on with 512 Jerseys... But please release sooooon!!!!

normally option 2, but with 08 coming in 3 months, I have to say option 1.

i vote opt 1 myself, i mean jerseys are cool, and they look good but i know for me it's always been hard for some reason to get shoes in the game, for those that know me, know i have tryed my best to do it, but it just never goes right. hope to see opt 1
