The Milestone Thread

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

I'd say that someone at www.howardforums.com has you beat, though I only check there occasionally.

or perhaps on Survivor Sucks... http://p085.ezboard.com/bsurvivorsucks

I post on a ton of boards, and I can't imagine having 50,000 posts... and I post a lot! Unfortunately things here have died down a ton... I would probably have near 5,000 posts by now.

That'd boost me up to around twenty seven thousand and something, so I'd still fall short of those other boards. I can live with that though.

:chug: to Shannon and Andrew.

Shannon's "spam" is a good thing as his posts greatly contributes to forum discussions. His post milestone is one of those moments that I wish he would quickly reach 5K or 10K because he's good for the forums.

I'm not impressed by Andrew's huge post count.
I'm more impressed with the years he spent as the webmaster.
What is it, 6, 7 years? It amazes me with the effort he gives to this site for years.
Recent circumstances in my life (group/organization related) makes me feel, even for a little bit, the reasoning or insanity that drives someone to maintain something like this without for benefit or personal gain.

But if Andrew ever brags how he got some ladies by using his position as NLSC admin, then the bashing starts from me. :P

He got to go to NYC and the NBA draft.

Seriously though, it's amazing how long you have been keeping this site together for and how you also interact with the people that log into this site, through the forums. I came here looking for a roster patch for NBA Live 2003 and now I have a bunch of people that I love talking to about basketball in general. It's pretty crazy how everyone came here for something to do with NBA Live, sometimes 6 or 7 years ago as Shadow said, and now log on each day to talk about sport and just life in general. This site is also the reason I got into using photoshop, which in turn led to graphic design stuff, which I will be going to a design college to study in October.

Thanks for keeping this site running and all the hard work you put into it.

Thanks shadowgrin, it's good to know some like reading my spam. I enjoy getting my opinion out there and reading your opinions too. I wish you would post more as well. :)

 It's not like Andrew harassed or threatened the EA guys to send him to NYC or the past Community Event.

Or was it?
(Andrew must've gotten the EA guys scared by threatening to send naked pics of himself)

Shannon wrote:I wish you would post more as well

Hell no, I'm already posting what could be classified as borderline spam. Any more of it and it would be legit spamming.

Not to steal the light from Andrew...

But that's awesome! Pretty much the same thing has happened to me too. Although I plan to go into sports journalism/broadcasting, I also hope to minor in Graphic Design which inspired me here. I'm not that great, but hey, everyone can learn eh?

Since we're talking about being inspired by the forums...

The forum really inspired me to follow my dream...child molestation.

Unfortunately, you guys are a lot more accepting than the real world, so yeah, I just opted for Law. :( It's the closest/safest thing to child molestation. I mean, I can defend myself now.

Thanks NLSC. I <3 Le NLSC.

Congratulations Shannon and Andrew.

Shannon, you always seem to always give solid arguments and you sure know how to back them up.One of the posters that I never skip their posts.Good job on thinking up every post.

I don't need to say much about Andrew, his work is self explained.

A (B) to both of you.

5000 posts. That's a lot. Anyway, I won't give shoutouts because you guys know that you're in my heart forever  And I was thinking about doing something special for this moment, but it'll take some time and I'm not sure if I could pull this off. I'm wating for Jackal to bring the beers, he said he was paying.

For Drex's continued efforts in staying around despite having a busy schedule and a lot of older members leaving...

This 5000 celebration is entirely on me, beer's for anyone that's drinking. E-money isn't an issue today.

(B) Here's to you Drex, half of the Jonex combo, I never fail to read a post made by you. Thanks for sticking around man, makes it that much more fun for me!
