How Do I Usa a patch?

I want to download one but can you tell me EVERYTHING I need to do from downloading it to installing it to using it.

How would I use a jersey patch? Or like a court patch.

Installation instructions will be in the readme.txt in most patches. (They're should be a readme.txt in every patch) So there's no need to worry about that.

Most patchers are thinking of first time users when they write the readme's anyway...well atleast i do.

So just download and follow the instructions from there...it's very easy.

ya i read the readme file and everything but when i install the patch it doesn't work. It says extract the .zip files into the NBA live 2003 folder and i just dragged them into the folder. THE PATCHES STILL DON'T WORK!!! What could I do???

did you enable costum art? and please tell me what kinda patch you wanna install? oh and if it said extract the zip file into the main nba live folder it probably also said "then run the .bat-file"...

yeah it said run the .BAT file. How do you enable custom art? Is it by changing-->customart 0 to customart 1? I did that btw.
It is a jersey patch I want to install. what do they mean by extracting the .zip files? Also, what is the .BAT file?

help please

well, when you open the zip-file there r some other files in there, you need 2 put them in your main nba live folder, all the files except the readme (you can put it in there 2 but it aint necessary), then take a look at all the files you jus put in the nba live folder, one of them ends with ".bat" double click on that file and itll install the patch

btw that costumart set to 1 is rite, so you dont need to change that

I did all that. Then it says it couldn't open a directory or something. Do i have to install that EA Graphics editor or any other tool for this to work?

im not sure but you gotta have gfxpak and eazip in your main folder or some other stuff, im not really sure jus download the utilities-zip-file at travis' site
