control with dpad instead of analoge stick?

Postby vince1031 on Sat Sep 20, 2003 12:13 am

ahh help..

i just got the logitech dual action game pad.

How come I have to use the analog stick to control the players... is it like this on other dual analog controllers also?

I would rather use the d-pad to control the players movements... anyone know a solution. I already tried under control configuration during the game and it wont let me change to control movement with my d-pad!!

Thanxs..

VInce (considering turning it back)
btw I am playing NBa live 2003

Is there a button on the gamepad to switch between the D-pad and the left analog stick? This is the case with the Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Analog gamepad.

I have a logitech, a different one but same company so I might be able to help, and I can only use the D-oad when the little light beside the mode button is red. So like Andrew said there's probably a button. Set the controller to the red light if it has one, then set the configs and it should work. Took me an hour to figure this out when I got my controller.
