I think he meant "I love to patch my version of the game," meaning he likes to download patches and use them, not patch himself.
It was a somewhat selfish comment, especially since I doubt he releases so many patches himself that others pale in comparison and need to pick up the slack. I can't patch, so I won't judge, but don't misinterpret it

anyone tried the tnt patch? does it replace the ea sports logo, or will it just animate for a couple of seconds before showing the shot clock (as in my case)? i followed the directions, but it always does that and then reverts back to the ea sports logo. can anyone help?
