The fields you want to edit are ORIGASHOE in players.dbf and AWAYSHOE in appearance.dbf. That should do the trick.

Which dbf files are you editing? You'll need to edit the files in one of the save folders otherwise it won't take effect. Be sure to make a backup first in case anything goes wrong.

Then you didn't do it right, because what he's saying is correct. 8-)

Edit the files in your saved roster file, and make sure to load your rosters before checking.
