Creating all-star teams

Forgive the noob intrusion, but my son and I have been playing NBA Live 06 and really enjoying it. But what we'd really like to do is create all-star teams to play a schedule and then each other (as we do in Madden and NHL). Is there a way to do this?

are you playing on a console, or on PC?

i dont think you can make a team from scratch on a console, but i am not sure. Maybe one of the more knowledgeable NLSC members will tell you. sorry
