Did anyone watch the Hornets-Knicks game yesterday? Heard there was a mini fight between Paul and Voshkul or however you spell his name...
Can anyone find footage on it?

magic lose, knicks win, suddenly the knicks are 2 games behind the MAGIC and HEAT for 7th and 8th place in the east (NJN is 1game behind them and 1 ahead)

A win vs. the Nets, and Heat in the next 2 games could push the knicks to 8th (or 7th place)..

any one think the knicks can pull this off?

Nate Robinson should be covering Kidd and clothesline him.

Francis more than likely done for the season..and possibly forever
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baske ... 2369c.html

but more importantly, now crawford is done for the season.

NEW YORK -- Monday, Jamal Crawford hit a late 3-pointer to give the New York Knicks a win over the Miami Heat.

Tuesday, the team learned he will likely require season-ending surgery on a stress fracture in his right ankle, though the team said it's possible he could return if the Knicks make the playoffs.

"It's very disappointing, honestly," Crawford told reporters on Tuesday. "You never expect anything like this to happen. I guess it's just part of life."

Crawford told reporters that surgery is "not definite, but a strong possibility." He also said he was told there were "no other options" to repair the fracture. He said he had been feeling pain in his ankle for a few weeks and had X-rays after Monday's game and an MRI and CT scan on Tuesday.

Crawford is scoring 17.9 points per game this season, making him the second-highest scorer on the Knicks. New York is 26-32 and was two games out of the eighth and final spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs entering Tuersday's game at Boston.

from too many guards to now too little.. this sucks. Francis would be very useful right now, but he is also done. Don't forget, Marbury is injured too with that toe injury :(

So Richardson will take over at shooting guard while Jeffries moves to SF. It also means more PT for Robinson & Mardy Collins.

It's not looking good...

strange things happen in a week. Suddenly francis returns, and knicks are only .5 games behind the Nets for 8th place!

aw...... i like steve francis now after scoring 26 in the comeback over the hawks and starbury scoring 38(i think) which combine them for 64 points that is impressive as well i really like them to go to the playofs

I was watching the game on and off but did watch the final minute, that last play I was in my living room yelling "I DON'T TRUST YOU, I DON'T TRUST YOU" as Francis drove it up the court. After the shot went in I got up said "Ok I trust you." and walked to my room. lmao

Francis' strong play as of late has me wondering, could he have been faking injuries that had been holding back, so maybe he could be traded or released. Or maybe its just something as simple as having his swagger back?

Anyway, the playoff run is starting to look more and more serious. Even though they won't make any noise if they do make it.

What do you call a power forward that averages 7 rebounds?
A small forward.

I'm just glad that buyout didn't go through. We'd be in deep sh!t without him to replace Crawford.

Nice Francis Buzzer Beater. I was watching that game too. I was cheerign for the Knicks (Francis in particular) I didn't trust Francis that much for the game winner cause I thought he's been on a decline, but still managed to nail that 3 for the win. I saw 3 point play (well he didn't make the free throw) then after that I thought that it was a Wizard's win, but what the fuck do you know. Steve Francis stepping up and BAAM.

Yup, looks like Mr.Thomas is staying, and the Knicks need to find consistency. :-), playoffs, maybe?

I have mixed feelings about Isiah getting an extension. As a coach, he's reached these players in a way Brown couldn't. But I don't want him as a GM. I wish Brain-Dead Dolan would make him give up his front-office duties.

Would it be nice if new york, along with toronto and new jersey, would barge into the playoffs?Starbury reminded me that one time,he once helped win a come-from-behind allstar game for the eastern conf then, playing inspired ball as of late...

francis and curry need to cut there turnovers down to make the knicks have a chance of making it. Also Curry needs to stop slacking and start putting up 18+ ppg again!!

Amp, that's why Curry will never be a great player. The boy is too damn soft. At his size, he should be imposing his will on games(see what Shaq is doing). Instead, he's moaning about not having Crawford. Well sh!t, MFer, get out there, pick up your game and whip ass on the court!

Now the knicks beat the Raptors finally..

I think the key stat of the game is only 10 team turnovers by the knicks ( 3 by francis)
15pt/12reb from balkman helped also but the turnovers finally kept low was great

Horrible loss last night to Portland - inexcusable.

Jamaal Magliore - 14 pts., 16 boards

Eddy Curry - 8 pts., 4 boards

WTF??????????

Was Curry going up against Shaq? As big as this MFer is, why can't he impose his will on a game defensively? I don't care what Zeke says, this boy will ALWAYS be soft! No f-n heart!

I defy any of you to come up with an owner more clueless than Jim Dolan. This is why real Knick fans are so frustrated these days. How can you have hope for this team with this idiot in charge?

its sad, but i still imagine those 2 games in late April vs. NJN will be the decider. And NJ will probably win them. I could also picture a win or die situation vs the bobcats on the last day of the season and the knicks lose. Just how pathetic they can be sometimes.
