v1.10 released...

Postby Andrew on Fri Aug 22, 2003 11:15 pm

I've finally finished version 1.10 of the roster update, and it's available to download here. I apologise again for the delay, it shouldn't happen again now that the Dstats have been updated. Thanks to everyone who has been waiting patiently for the update.

New in v1.10:
- Rosters updated through August 22nd, 2003
- Dstats updated
- Player ratings and data updated

As usual, support for previous versions is more or less discontinued; please base all feedback/bug reports/suggestions on v1.10.

Enjoy! :)

You're welcome. :) But there's always room for improvement, and I also said I'd add some more Legends this offseason. Realistic salaries will come at the end of the offseason, but there's other things I can improve in the mean time. I'll certainly try to do that. (Y)

I'd rather not take too much time between updates, unless I'm making a major update. But anyway, thanks again. :)

Yes, they are. The rosters in slot 000 and slot 002 have all the latest transactions (up until the roster's release).

Can somebody say, how to put cyberfaces for that update?

You'll have to edit the appropriate PLAYERPKGs to add any missing face patches.

The file is great.. However the team standings are all wrong,, bad teams win and good teams(spurs) are ranked really poor... anyway of getting around this? I don't wanna be playing Memphis in the finals

great work, still high score, well there is really nothin we can do about it

ive made a game, i played with minnesota of cours...milked the clock, and got them to do a very real score and stats, well my stats were unreal...but thats atleast somethin i guess...here it is:

game stats
Code: Select all
Entire Game         Minnesota        Philadelphia

Points              124              101
Bench Scoring       24               19
Field Goals         50/88            40/85
Field Goal %        .568             .471
3 Point FG          8/18             6/29
3 Point %           .444             .207
Free Throws         16/25            15/18
Free Throw %        .640             .833
Rebounds            50               25
Off. Rebounds       16               0
Def. Rebounds       34               25
Blocks              9                1
Steals              3                16
Assists             36               27
Turnovers           22               19
Fouls               15               40

AI finished with 30 points in 27 mins (a litle foul touble) with 11-29 from the field, so its pretty real...KG had nearly a triple dauble, and was as good as in real life...

jey-em... try downloading that player's patch and then you have to do some dbf editing... read the readme file... had the same problem with troy bell, chris kaman and dhantay jones... created folders for them but the shoes and cyberface patches didn't work... nag work lang when i did some dbf editing... try it man... and tell me if it worked :D

I still plan on doing that, but there are other aspects of the rosters I'd rather work on first (updating rosters, player ratings, etc).

Some XP users cannot run the install.bat file. You'll have to install the patch manually. Consult this topic for instructions.

Andrew,

Can you include a tweaked roster of the 2002-2003 rosters in the next roster update?

Thanks.

I'd rather not add another save file to the archive. I could probably include the coefficients in the readme file so that you could tweak the 2002/2003 final rosters yourself.
