Flite, no need to move the birthdates back. It's really not a big deal.

Actaually it is a big deal. There aren't 17 year olds in the NBA.

Flite_23, I moved the birthdates back in the correct roster because I checked it in dynasty mode by looking at Rudy Gay. I probably sent you the wrong roster. Just go on and do your roster. When you are done with it, I can quickly change the birthdays.

Is the draft mod almost ready? RyanP said the one for 07 is almost done.

I think Flite_23 got rid of the link because it crashed in dynasty mode.

I will update this list every time I complete a team for my roster. I will edit the ratings until I get good stats portrayed after a season in Season mode with the starting lineups and bench order set by the teams current starters (according to ESPN.com) and the bench players minutes. After I get the best result I can, I will give the team a grade on how realistic those simmed statistics came out to be.

A: Very Accurate (All starters averaging very close to their real numbers)
B: Accurate (Most starters averaging close to their real numbers)
C: Somewhat Accurate (Some starters roughly averaging their real numbers)
D: Not Accurate (2 or less starters very roughly averaging their real numbers)

I think this will help keep everyone posted on how fast the roster moves along and what to expect in terms of quality. Just remember there are some players who will never average around their real numbers under some circumstances because there is only so much you can do to the player and ratings become very sensitive. I simmed 9 different seasons trying to get Deron Williams averaging around 17/4/9 but no matter how much I changed him I couldn't get it to happen. In Live, you very rarely are able to have a player average close to 20 points and 10 assists, because the game just plain doesn't allow high scorers and high assists without changing the players ratings beyond realism. I did however, manage to get Deron to average 19/4/8 when I took Derek Fisher (the current starter) out of the starting lineup and replaced him with Matt Harpring. Thats an example of how changing something as minimal as a certain starter, after spending hours changing the actual player in questions ratings.

Wish me luck :)

I'm in the process of making a scoreboard. Problem is I don't know what to make it look like. If anyone could give me suggestions of different broadcasters with screens, please let me know.

PS: I don't think it is possible to do the 07 type scoreboards.

Heres a mock up of what I'm going for:

It's a fictional ESPN2HD Scoreboard, should I continue and make it or try something else?

Suggestions or comments are welcome.

Ok, thanks for the input. I will do this scoreboard, once I work my way through the tutorial. I'm still kinda lost with all of it, but hopefully I can get it done tomorrow.

Nice scoreboard Flite.

What made you decide to ditch the TNT scoreboard?

I remember downloading a file that had a template along with the sleeve stripes, but I don't remember who made it and I can't find it anywhere on my computer.

I done a search of the forum and found nothing. I am pretty sure this is the file though:

http://www.nba-live.com/download/pafile ... ile&id=780

...but the link is dead. I'm going through all my CDs right now, if I find it I'll let you know. I hope I do, because I want it too. Also, could you please get me the names of Mikkis Silver Edition files or send me the files themselves, I desperately need them to finish my Silver front end with which I will release the select team logos.

And RJHNY1, I don't remember ever doing a TNT scoreboard or attempting one :| Unless I'm forgetting...

EDIT: Arget, to add stripes, just use the selection tool to make a line, then fill it with the color. Do this so the stripe is on the same layer as the base color.

EDIT: Found it. Here is the PSD file for doing real nice collars:

http://www.speedyshare.com/553765750.html

I have no idea who the Author is unless its the file I mentioned earlier, either way full credit to them.
