panathinaikos is the best team with csska and tau in europe...it has the 2 times best defender in europe-diamantidis,the best greek players,the second best 3-points shooter in lietvua-siskauskas,2 of the best talents in europe 3 years before-becirovic,vujanic and the best coach in europe-obradovic and of course the best and ecstatic fans in the world

Dimitris Diamantidis pm 1.96 (one of the best playmakers in Europe)

Diamantidis main characteristic is his defense. He is, if not the best, one of the best defenders in Europe.

Fragiskos Alvertis sf 2.06 perfect three point shooter (95), no athletic , no stamina, very slow, no other ways of scoring,

Alvertis is now 33 years old. His three point shooter has fallen dramatically over the last year. In Euroleague he shoots with 29% three points, while in Greek League with 45%. Panathinaikos best three pointers I believe are:
Delk
Becirovic 47% (greek league)
Vujanic 51% (greek league)

Dusan Sakota sf 2.08 promising player excellent shooter, no power, very good ball control

No good ball control. Good shooter

Dimos Dikoudis pf 2.06 based on his power and his good mid range shooting can play as a center. no jumping, no dunks,very slow.

He has power, stamina and hardiness. He is not that slow

Costas Tsartsaris pf 2.09 he can score with all the ways very good
3point shooter and inside scorer, good rebounder

Robertas Javtokas c 2.10 Just a meat a totally useless player
many fouls , mistakes ,very slow, dummy,

I strongly disagree with Javtokas. I see that are some people in this forum from Lithuania, who can support my case. Javtokas is a very athletic player who can dunk, block and rebound. He is not playing according to his potential at Panathinaikos, but this doesn’t mean that he is a “meat”. Don’t forget also that San Antonio Spurs were close signing him during the summer transfers.

Dejan Tomacevic c 2.08 i think the only center in europe with basketball intelligence very good pass and inside scoring, lacks stamina and power.

Excellent offensive and defensive awareness. Good passer (although he is a center)

For the stats Olimpiakos has beaten Panathinaikos for the first time after SEVEN years. Panathinaikos has a home steak of 92 wins and 3 loses since 2002 for the Greek league.

I dissagree with someone who previously mentioned :

James Penn - 79 FS[scorer][stoper]

Penn is neither a scorer and definetely not a stoper
I believe Penn is about 75-76 overall , and Vasilopoulos should be around 73-74.

Finally I think Panathinaikos should be considered as the best overall team in this project. Betting companies believe that he is number one favorite of wining Euroleague this year.

For Euroleague top16 started with 2/2 wins, beating at home
Efes Pilsen 84-57
and
Barcelona 102-82

t beard- i think should have fss power triger
zukauskas should have fss stoper triger because he is very good blocker his record is 13 blocks
and nielsen should have fss inside scorer because he is very good
and why dont anyone except kasun and schortsanidis have power triger??
i think batista and beard should have it

Ι STRONGLY INSIST THAT JAVTOKAS IS A ΜΕΑΤ . Nowadays NBA teams have higher salary caps and bring average players. Especially tall players.
Javtokas,Tsakalidis,Glyniadakis, Turiaf , olowokandi...........

could they stand against Robinson, Malone , O'neal..........

Despite some exceptions (Howard,stoudamire etc) tall talented players do not exist anymore in America

Something about Panathinaikos . If not all , the most of the team's players are excellent defenders.
