to get realistic shot distribution you have to make the primacies disparate. Another thing is different positions need different primacy ratings to get the same results. If you put your PG at 99, your C at 99 and everyone else at 0, the PG would still attempt way too many shots compared to the C cause they're the ones initiating the offense and that results in them being chuckers.
In my dynasty Gil 0 averages 29 points. His prymacy is 75. No one else on the Wizards has more than 45 (Butler). That is an exception, however. No other PG needs to have such high primacy to average so little points. Iverson averages about 25 and his primacy is at 50. Melo has about 27 on 80. So basically your PGs primacy ratings shouldn't be higher than 50 or they will torch you and lead to them having unrealistic scoring averages on dynasty.
SGs are different. Kobe averages 28 ppg on 95 primacy. Joe Johnson is at 24 on 90 (but I don't heighten it as he is having a tough time making shots). Rip on the other hand averages 21 on 55. Wade is in high 20s with 80. Vince is close to 30 with 65... So, as you can see, the majority have really high primacies when compared to PGs. This applies to games in which you play as well - if you want your PG to pass, he has to have much lower primacy rating than other players even if the PG is a 1st or 2nd option.
The most difficult position is the C position. I cannot give you the best example - Yao, cause I play with the Rockets, and it really doesn't matter what primacy the players on your team have (that is, if you play the games). But here are some examples. Curry averages a bit above 20 with 45, the same with STAT. On the other hand, JO is at 20 with 60. And Dalambert is at 10 with 50... I'd say the C position is the most dependant on other players primacies.
So my point is - the exact same primacies for different positions lead to different results.
However, the primacy seems bugged sometimes. For example Andre Miller averages 20 points (on 35 FG%) on 0 primacy, takes 20+ shots every game and I can't seem to do anything about it. The team is full with high primacy players, but it is still Dre who takes the most shots. Another example is Mike Dunleavy. He averages about 30 point on 0 primacy since I forced a the trade between GS and Indiana...
