Fatal Application Error!!!

Hi Guys, I have just encountered the following issue: when I start up 07 for the PC i get a black screen then the following error - NBA LIVE 07: NBALIVE07.EXE - FATAL APPLICATION ERROR. The game then boots me to the desktop!! I have not installed any new drievrs or games etc....I have even tried uninstalling the game and patches and reinstalling. But I cannot work this issue our. Anyone help please??
