You're playing on the second hardest difficulty so if you want more of a challenge I'd suggest upping it to Superstar difficulty to begin with. You can also adjust the sliders to give the CPU an unfair advantage.

As Andrew said, moving to the most difficult level is a start... followed by tweaking sliders... it's not all that difficult to make the game more challenging, when needed.

5.5 assists per game for Kobe this year, dude. He must be playing with last years Kobe.

DANNYJJANG, I just lost two games in a row of a dynasty I was doing. The dynasty I had before that, I was 14-1 and decided to start fresh. Upping to Superstar difficulty is number one. Number two is sliders. I have to give the cpu an edge on a couple of things. For instance, my short/medium/long range shooting sliders are at 37/38/39, but the cpu's sliders are at 42/43/44. The reason is, I am used to exploiting the cpu's gameplay. Its just something I am used to. Also, recently I turned cpu interceptions back to 50 and find the game alot more enjoyable since I can no longer thread the defense with freestyle passes on any occasion. I also turned up cpu dunk/layup block to 65 because I find myslef performing easy dunks around the rim, now I am getting swatted when I try to exploit that. In other words, you can make the game challenging andfun, but you sort of have to discipline yourself with sliders. Find out what you are exploiting, and change some sliders to make it harder.

I can score 103 points with Kobe on Superstar difficulty with the default sliders. Not hard.

In that case you're left with changing the sliders to give yourself more of a challenge. To begin with I'd suggest reducing the user field goal sliders while increasing the CPU field goal sliders, reducing user freestyle effectiveness and increasing the CPU interception slider.

I feel like the game is too easy when I concentrate on offence. I usually play my best the 1st q, then coast through 2nd and 3rd (if the score allows me to) and pick up the intensity during the 4th and usually win by 10 points scoring about 90-110. One time during my dynasty I had a 25-3 record (or close to that) and the Spurs had 24-4. If they had won, we'd be even. So I tried to execute all game long and ended up scoring 136 on 60% shooting. But I enjoy to win with my defence more. Like last night against Phoenix 86-77. :)
