A new version (v1.02) of the NBA Live 07 roster update is now available to download here.

Key features of v1.02:
- 2006/2007 Season Rosters (accurate as of 15/02/07)
- Player ratings updated for more realistic performance
- Primacy ratings updated for better shot distribution
- Player positions and data updated/corrected
- Cyberfaces for all newly added players
- East & West All-Star Teams updated with injury replacements
- Default Dunk Contest Participants updated
- Jeremy Richardson portrait added

Release Notes

• I am aware that Louis Amundson does not have a portrait. As with Jeremy Richardson in the last update, I have decided not to include a blank portrait so there won't be any conflict with existing patches you may have installed. And yes, so long as I have a portrait for Amundson I will include it in future updates.
  
• Because the Western All-Stars have four replacements this year and only three inactive roster spots, Carlos Boozer has been left off the rosters in game. This was not done out of any dislike for Boozer or the Jazz. I had to decide which three players I'd keep and I figured Iverson was more popular, Nash is the reigning MVP and Yao was voted a starter thus I went with those three.
  
  If you want to use Boozer in the Western All-Stars, I've left the second entry for him (the one for the All-Star team) in the database so with a little dbf editing you can substitute him for the player of your choice in the active rosters. Just change their TEAM from 31 to 32 and Boozer's TEAM from 32 to 31 and make sure he takes their ROSTERPOS value.
  
• I decided to leave the default colours for the Nuggets and Knicks as they were as the current colours are accurate as of those teams' most recent games. With the way teams wear different coloured bands at different times it's difficult to nominate just one colour for each individual home and away jersey in teamgear.dbf. Nevertheless, this is something I'd like to pay attention to so please keep me informed.

I think you just need to lower the stamina ratings of some players specially superstars like wade, nash, nowitzki etc. for better substitution patterns and it will be perfect game for me. For example I played against the dallas mavericks for 12 min qtrs and 4 of their 5 starters played the entire game and stackhouse wasnt even used. Anyways a great roster patch. Keep it up!!! (Note: I used CPU Sub frequency of 85)

I don't see why he should change his FT to a 78. He's taken 39 more attempts from the stripe than last year at .809, whereas last year he shot a paltry .577. I can't see Lee's FT Rating going any higher than a 72 right now; at least until more towards the end of the season.

Only player I changed was Tyrus Thomas, whose default skin colour didn't match his default cyberface.

There are no problems with those players' faces; they are included with the update and have been since the initial release. Please consult Faces Troubleshooting.txt for more information if faces aren't being displayed properly.

-Make the Lakers' white jersey as the default home jersey. When I played the Rookie game, Andrew Bynum is wearing the yellow jersey while playing with the white jersey (sophomore) teammates, and that will cause Bynum to be mistaken for playing in the other team (rookies) with the coloured jerseys.

-Change the default players for the 3-point shootout. Because EA has 8 players while the actual event has 6, you can also put in the top two players from last year who did not compete for this year (ie. Ray Allen, Quentin Richardson).

-Update the actual starting lineups for the Rookie game (hopefully somebody has recorded the game with the starting lineups displayed, and posted somewhere on the net) and the All-Star game with some reserve players replacing the injured starters (you'll see the change tonight as this message was posted hours before the game).

I would if I could. I still haven't figured that one out as it seems it isn't simply a matter of changing ratings as it with the dunk contest. I don't want to change player IDs because of the other problems it can cause.

No problem. All you need to do is switch the JERSEYTYPE values for the white jersey and the gold jersey in teamgear.dbf. The Lakers' TEAMID is 12; change the JERSEYTYPE for the home (gold) jersey from 0 to 2 and the JERSEYTYPE for the alternate (white) jersey from 2 to 0.

The jerseys are white by default when playing the Lakers as the home team, but in the Rookie game, Bynum is still wearing yellow. Because of this, it made me realized something. The Rookie team actually uses jerseys with JERSEYTYPE=1 and the Sophmore team uses jerseys with JERSEYTYPE=0 insead of using the default away and home jerseys respectively. I've should have known. So now I ask how can I make the white jersey JERSEYTYPE=0 and the yellow JERSEYTYPE=2, and still make the home jersey yellow when the Lakers play at home? You can definitely do this on the next version of your rosters.

Im having a huge problem though. can these rosters be used for dynasty and if so how? cos i start a new dynasty using random for the 2006 draft.. but when it comes to the team page they aint changed e.g. Iverson still at philly

NBA Live 07 is strange when it comes to starting new Dynasty games. If you choose to do the 2006 Draft over it'll revert to the original rosters.

Sorry, that's still not a viable solution because I'm left with the problem of the Lakers using the wrong jersey as their primary home jersey in regular games. It could work for what you want to achieve with All-Star Weekend but the bottom line is it messes up the jerseys for regular gameplay, thus I won't be doing it in the roster patch.

Take a look please on this 2 best offensive rebounders in the league:
-Tyson Chandler take 4.2 Emeka Okafor take 4.1 offensive rebounds per game, and this both guys in the top of the league for the long time. Not Howard, their offensive rebounds rating shoud be increased to 85. Pls take a right look on this

-Also Emeka Okafor deffensive rebound rating encrease pls, he take 7.6 deffensive board per game, Odom take the same but have a rating 90 =)) And this Link to % of Emekas inside shoots.... very high % 68 ... take a look @ his inside ratings pls
-King James, take a look on his FG Andrew, he shooting from difficult situations, and have FG only 80, but Vinsanity with shooting from the same situations have 82
