Welcome to the official support thread for v1.01 of the NLSC Current Roster Update for NBA Live 07!

The news post:

I've finished v1.01 of the current roster update for NBA Live 07 and it is now available to download here.

Key features of v1.01:
- 2006/2007 Season Rosters (accurate as of 3/02/07)
- Player ratings updated for more realistic performance
- Primacy ratings updated for better shot distribution
- Player positions and data updated/corrected
- Some missing portraits added
- Coaches updated with cyberfaces
- East & West All-Star Teams Updated
- Rookie & Sophomore Teams Updated
- Automatic primacy fix included

A few release notes:

1. Yes, I'm aware that the update doesn't include a portrait for Jeremy Richardson. I'll add one ASAP. In the mean time, I have decided not to include a blank portrait so if you've already downloaded a portrait update for Richardson the patch will use it and not overwrite it.
2. As soon as replacements are officially named for Yao Ming and Carlos Boozer on the Western All-Star team, I'll add them. For now, they're the 11th and 12th players on the roster. Once replacements are named both will remain on the roster as injured reserves.
3. For the moment I've had to guess the lineups for the Rookie and Sophomore teams as well as the bench order for the East and West All-Stars. These will of course be updated after the All-Star Weekend itself.

why is it that the teamgear color of denver is not updated? they should wear yellow bands for away and sky blue bands and sleeve for home.. isnt it? thanks ... is there a patch to update that? thanks...

I like to clear if the roster could be used in the Dynasty mode or is it just for Season Mode? Other than that, this is one heck of a S-U-P-E-R-B patch! Thanks for the hardwork Andrew!

can you take a look at dunk packages? childress and david west can't dunk.

No problem, easily fixed. It's amazing how many players who dunk regularly have dunk packages that don't include any dunks in the default rosters; while I've fixed a few so far it seems there are more that have gone under the radar. If you come across anymore, please let me know.

Well, there's a lot of things to worry about and sometimes I miss some of the finer details such as accessory colours. Easily fixed though.

You don't have to, but I'd recommend it if you want to have any shot of having halfway decent scoring averages with all the Primacy recalculations that occur during the course of a season in Dynasty Mode.

Andrew there are some suggestions:
Mickael Pietrus:
- has good touch from the perimeter and also good mid range jumpshot, his FG% is excellent .482 so his fg rating should be increased up to 72 at least. For comparison Jason Richardson with FG% - .446 last season has fg rating 80.
- makes 0.8 block per game this season - his block rating should be increased up to 50 at least.
Carlos Boozer:
- he is a great dunker but he also has a nice touch around the rim and reliable mid-range shot. His fg rating should be increased up to 70 at least or maybe up to 75 cause he probably deserves to be star inside scorer.
- he is among the best in the NBA defensively making 0.9 steals and 0.3 blocks per game. He ranks 4th among players who play 30+ minutes behind only Camby, Dwight, and KG. So his defensive awareness should be increased up to 75 at least.
- despite the fact he is 6-9 height he grabs 11.8 rebounds per game so he deserves rebound ratings to be 85 and 90. For comparison Dwight Howard with his 6-11 grabs 11.9 rebounds and has 86 and 92.
- he makes 3.0 asissts per game this season so his asisst rating should be increased up to 50.
Juwan Howard:
- really talented offensive player. Makes much more shots than dunks. He has very strange but effective shooting mechanic. His FG% - .479 this season so his fg rating should be increased up to 75.
Shane Battier:
- not the biggest talent in the world, but a player that can make an impact thanks to his smartness, intensity and leadership. Undoubtedly need his offensive awareness up to 75 at least. Very clever player.
- his FT% - .780 so his free throw rating should be 77 at least.
Tony Parker:
- his FG% is .529 so his fg rating should be 85 at least.
- his FT% - .789 so his free throw rating should be 78 at least.
- makes 1.00 steal per game. Maybe he deserves to be outside stopper?
Zach Randolph:
- grabs 7.3 defensive rebounds per game. Even more than Amare Stoudemire, Ben Wallace etc. So his def.rebound rating should be increased up to 88 and jump rating up 70 cause he is only 6-9 height.
- averages 24.0 points per game with FG% .467 so he should be superstar inside scorer for sure.
- has 3PT% - .280 so his 3pt rating should be increased up to 45.
Rip Hamilton:
- averages 22.1 points with FG% .462 so he undoubtedly should be superstar outside scorer.
Kirk Snyder:
- please change his jumpshot style to normal. In game he shoots like bigman.
Steve Novak:
- his 3PT% is .333 so his 3pt rating should be increased up to 74. For comparison Delonte West's 3PT% - .362, Martell Webster's 3PT% - .377 and they have 3pt rating 74. Remember he won the NCAA 3-Point Shootout in 2006.
Luther Head:
- he has FG% - .424 and 3PT% - .445. So fg 75 and 3pt 78 not about him. This guy more better. His fg nad 3pt ratings should be increased.
James Jones:
- he shoots a lot of threes but his percentage from the perimeter is .407. So he doesn't deserves 3pt 81. It should be 75 maximum.
Raja Bell:
- he makes only 0.5 steal per game so his steal rating should be decreased down to 65.
- his FG% is .444 so his fg rating should be increased up to 75 at least.

True, that's a point worth noting. The deeper you go into Dynasty Mode the less effective the Primacy Fix becomes.

you can check out chris_23's simulation patch. coz it recalculates primacy base on players stats not base on who the player was.

Mehmet Okur is a much better three point shooter. (and shooter overall) I know, i'm following his shooting all season long for an article i'm writing. For example, for the season he's shooting 46.4%/78.8%/37.7%. In the 4th quarter he's shooting 49.3%/85.3%/43.6% . . . and in the last 5 mins of a game he is shooting 55.6%/82.1%/48.1%. Yes, Memhet is clutch. (and a good shooter, especially from deep)

Additionally, why can't Deron Williams dunk? (his drunk rating is so low compared to everyones' boyfriend Christina Paul)

Thanks for the corrections and suggestions. Deron Williams not being able to dunk is an oversight. I actually meant to remove Fisher's headband after watching the Spurs/Jazz game the other week, as well as take another look at Millsap's ratings.

Head was one of the top rated athletes at the combine, but the guy doesnt dunk in games. He had one dunk that barely went in and almost slipped out of his hands. Other than that hes not really a dunker and he NEVER dunks in traffic

I download this great patch.First of all I play All-Star game,after this I cant play matchs with that roster.I tried to play with my own old roster,it worked.Every time I am trying to play a match with your roster patch a stupid Send or Dont send window comes off.Can anyone help me for this situation?

thanks andrew . . . and i only found out because i lost a game because of deron not being able to dunk . . . he stole the ball, and was going the length of the court for the game winner, no one was around him, and did the 'i can't dunk' animation, and i ended up losing by 1 point. hilarious . . .

Nice patch Andrew, but im having a problem with the cyberfaces and potraits of all the ''newcomers'', Their cyberfaces are orange and ball-like and most of them don't have pictures.. do you know what might be the problem?

No,my problem isnt all-star weekend.First I play East-West matchup in Play Now,it worked.But later I cant play any match in Play Now.But I can play it with my old rosters.
